mopezone. When I needed a duplicate Decree Absolute certificate, I got one from the Court Office of the Law Courts where the Decree Nisi was granted.
If you know which court your divorce hearing was held in, try them.I believe that friends are quiet angels

.....but the point is that I have no idea when, or which court it was done in - and the official ten year search I paid £65 for has come up with nothing!0

Mopezone If no one here can help, it might be worth putting your post on the "Marriage ,Relationships and families" board.0

MMF i asked OH about the cartridges and because the printer is still under warranty he bought the "official" ones, but chose the "Excel" version as they contain more ink. He got them from Amazon.
Once it's out of warranty I expect we too will buy them at Wilko's
((HUGS)) fuddle, only 4 weeks to go if your hols up there are similar to ours. But do moan on here as much as you need to xx
VJsmum I bought "Lose Weight for Good" not long ago. Being sick and tired of always being the one who has to decide what we're eating, I handed it to OH and [STRIKE]told him [/STRIKE]suggested he choose something and we'd go and buy the ingredients and I'd cook it. He leafed through the book then handed it back, remarking that it was "too chef-y"I didn't think so. A few of the recipes have ingredients we wouldn't normally buy, but I thought most were fine! I think it was just that he's not keen on Tom Kerridge so he didn't look properly.

Ouch, mopezone. No ideas then. You may have to divorce the ex all over again. After 40 years apart it shouldn't be difficult.
Csarina, I had this trouble when my Dad was in hospital. I rang one morning to be told that he was bright and cheerful and had been walking up and down the corridor on his own. When I exclaimed, "Walking? On his own? With dizzy spells and a broken pelvis?" there was a horrified gasp.
Yes, they were talking about someone else.I believe that friends are quiet angels

It's possible she has passed away. Maybe see if there's a death cert at the General Register Office? I'm sure there's a telephone number on their website so you could call and explain why you need to find out.0

Not the only lost soul
, I love my little flip phone.
My SIL is so determined to move me on that she is giving me her old now unused phone. Not sure I want it! but it would be nice to have one which takes photos.
Don't think you can be addicted to a basic phone which isn't connected to the internet, some days I don't use mine at all.
Softstuff, I don't have any useful thoughts, but I feel for you, so unfair.
Mine is basic, belonged to eldest so must be over 15 yrs old. Not even registered on "buy" sites0 -

If/when that turns up it's toes, there are a couple more old basic phones I could switch to in a box on top of the wardrobe, including an even older Nokia 3330, which doesn't even have a camera!
I really don't need mobile internet capabilities (if I want to use the internet while we're away, I take the netbook with me and use the wifi at the hotel we're staying at) and I loathe touchscreens with a passion, so no smartphone for me, thanks.
Mr LW has a very low-end smartphone, a Samsung Galaxy Young, and I can't operate it at all. I tried to answer a call on it while he was driving, and managed to cut the caller off! :rotfl: Even Mr LW struggles with it - it's the "swiping" movement to answer it we can neither off us get right. Dunno why.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
