Jazee focus on the perpetrator and repeat Roses are red, Karma is true, May you get what is coming to you, by skin and bone, blood and nerve, you will get what you deserve.

Intention is everything. That person will not prosper.

I'd quite like a small tattoo.

    Jazee how awful.

Nargle, I believe said friend is indeed very wise on such matters. Hope you get it sorted.

    Where you off to MMF?

Blowing a hoolie and pouring here. But we do need it, so I'll not complain.

My journey home was 13 hours door to door. 8 hours of which were actually on trains. That's not bad is it - from South western France to the Midlands. I got TONS of work done, and managed a delicious omelette and verre de vin blanc in Paris.

Now the question is how to entertain the MiL today. I am thinking of Mama Mia

    Morning all.
Nargle I love that, it's brilliant.
    Hugs Jazee, Csarina and NArgle.
Raining heavily here so we will stay put unless it improves.
I may try to speak to the people/person on the next boat today, they were running their engine for hours yesterday and had their log burner lit, I'm worried in case someone is unwell, I'm not bothered about the noise.
I fell asleep last night and was woken up half an hour later by fireworks, I'm glad they had them last night as it doesn't look good weatherwise for tonight.
I may put my caggy on and go for a walk later as Kintbury is very pretty.

Hope your DS is OK Jazee and the scumbag is caught and hung by the middles.

Sounds like you had an amazing holiday VJsmum, that's good time for the journey.

The weather was atrocious last night, heavy rain and strong wind. A bit better this morning but very autumnal and the rain is due back soon. At least I don't have to water the garden/allotment!

Sometimes I'd like a small tattoo, one of my friends has just had one on the inside of her wrist, looks really good but I'm not 100% sure so I'll hang fire.

Someone had fireworks here last night, are they for a 'thing' then?

Jazee- that's awful! I'm thinking that maybe all us fencers need to direct Nargles chant at the lowlife - they would t know what hit them.
Heavy rain here too and much needed. I'm almost rubbing my hands with glee cos my water butts are filling up. Our local lifeboat station have their annual open day today - it's also blowing a hoolie - sods law! DS1 and I will still be going. Will be strange to wear some rainproof gear after all this time.
Softstuff - go for it. Someone said to me a few years ago you only regret the things you didn't do as you get older. I decided this year if an opportunity presents itself then I am taking it!
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

Might have been weddings...we get them weekly when there is late night riding at the pleasure beach, and for the world championships in September.

Strange question while I'm waiting for OH to finish his breakfast and get ready to go to the gym...

I think I want a boiler suit to wear for gardening and other messy tasks when the weather is cooler. Yes, I realize this won't be fashionable (Stylish in my own weird way I am, fashionable I have never and will never be!) but I do think it would be very practical. I am, however, quite long on the torso. Has anyone every worn one and can advise on them? They all seem to be purchased online rather than shops.

    Please don't laugh too much!
