I had a red boiler suit for painting walls. It was theoretically practical but at the time I couldn't find one to accommodate boobage and also I am long-waisted so basically the legs had to be rolled up but the body was on the short side, even though I bought a large size. But it did have a lot of handy pockets.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back

Good news - Nargles chant worked and the police have arrested the lowlife who attacked DS yesterday.

When I was expecting DS I saw a pair of purple and white striped dungarees
I got my ex to come with me to try them on.

He said "oh no you look like a balloon with a big bump." :rotfl:

The assistant said to him. "I'm glad you said that."

It was a good I did not buy them DS was born two weeks later he was 5 weeks early.

Excellent news - I'm only just catching up with the thread, or I'd have sicced Loki onto the scumbag. I just don't get it - what is wrong with some people, that they just want to cause others hurt and misery?

I'm pleased to hear so many of you also either have or covet a boiler suit! Red eh?

Monna, you might be in luck. Dungarees are currently trendy again with the oh so fashionable teen set. Gingham I'm not sure about, but I can see exactly why you'd want them :D

DH bought his (not Gingham, I'm afraid!), from an agricultural supplier's shop, so he could try them on first. They are Dickies and are sooo hardwearing.

VJsmum, we are off to (drumroll ... ... ... ) Switzerland! I can't wait. We went there on honeymoon 19 years ago. Just had the photos out and boy, did we look young then! I shall take my souvenir fleece headband from when we went up to the Jungfraujoch and then walked up another 1200 feet in altitude to the Mönchsjoch hutte. We really felt the altitude walking the steep snow to the hut. Not sure whether we'll try it this time! There is a pic of DH in his mountain gear in the snow beside a rocky outcrop and it looks like he's up K2. After our walk I went sledging up there, DH took a pic just as I hurtled round a bend and went elbow over apex. Happy days.

    Sorry, have rambled again!
I have changed my work-life balance to a life-work balance.

I tried buying a ladies boilersuit to decorate in........ when it turned up it was just a blokes item with a ladies sizing in it. The proportions were all wrong, the legs and arms were too long. I had to send it back, at my expense of course....... grrrr.

I bought a lab coat in the end to wear over scruffs.
