We have torrential rain with hailstones here in East Anglia, I did stand outside in it until it got too heavy, the air already feels cooler.

I have just had a word with the hospital, they think that DB has had an ITA, he is being admitted. I have to ring after 8pm to find out which ward he has been admitted to. I will not be going in tonight, will go tomorrow. I just hope its a bit cooler, I am struggling myself with the heat, and a hot hospital will do me no good at all.

nargs, they're just words on a screen written by someone who knows all about those words and will care for other people with similar words effecting them. Except it's not. It's you and your lovely OH. I hope behind the scenes you have broken down because you need a release somehow. Those words are frightening and you have to deal with three of the most frightening words together, while they effect your OH. Nargs, be honest with us. Are you coping?

What I do know is that when one of our lot are 'itching' for summat, they're well on the mend!

csarina I'm wishing you a decent night sleep so you can cope a bit better tomorrow. At least he's being cared for by people who know how to give him the best care possible.

We left Woolhampton at 1:30 and made it to Newbury by 6ish, we've had a couple of brief showers, just enough to soak me as I walked along the two path.
I cooked sausage and mash and new w I have my feet up.

Nannywindow, is that the fire that’s been above Newport? We’ve been able to see it on and off for a while now (I’m just across the water). I can’t believe that anyone could start them deliberately- I hope the culprits are dealt with appropriately.
