Hi all,
Csarina I hope your OH is Ok. He is in great hands, so please take care of yourself too. Many hugs and healing vibes coming your way, for both of you.
Maryb my DH is suffering with a drop in his blood pressure too. It doesn't help that he is taking Ramapril ( sp ? ) every day either.
It seems the storms have passed us by, we could do with some rain just to put out our mountain fires. I hope they find the people responsible for starting them deliberately ( the first one was apparently started by two 14 year old girls who then put the pictures on FB  ) Our local rag has reported that now the fire services attending are being hindered and verbally abused. The police have had to step in, threatening arrest. What sort of people could do that ?. Steps down off soap box.
And on that note I wish everyone a good Friday.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0 -
Ha. Don't count on the thunder and rain, VJs.
Where ever you are in France I think I'd like to be there. It sounds lovely.
Hope OH is home soon Csarina.0 -
Sorry csarina. What a worrh fir you. Its horrible being in limbo, you can't plan anything and feel as though events are running your life. I hope you get some definite news soon.
WE HAVE RAIN! Only about 4 or 5 rumbles of thunder and about a dozen spit spots of rain, but it's a start.
It is quite dark and that's a novelty. It's even darker indoors due to the blackout material I have pegged to the curtains but even that's a welcome change.
The temperature hasn't dropped yet, but all in good time.I believe that friends are quiet angels

rain rain DON'T go away!! Well not for a while.:D
I don't think it will last very long but it looks like it will be enough to get the ground nice and wet. Just hope it's raining on the allotment as well, but as that's only a 10 minute walk away it should beIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0 -
Fuddle thanks for the email. I have been and checked in at the Dark Side.
Thunderstorms in the Land of Nargle, much needed rain. OH was admitted to hospital Wednesday morning with neutropenic sepsis due to pneumonia. Been on antibiotics and injections of GCSF to boost white cell production. He is now itching to get home but has to stay in over the weekend so probably home Monday. Long live the good old NHS, he has had brilliant care and treatment all the way.One life - your life - live it!0 -
Sending love & light & strength to you both nargleB xx0
