Well as Sir Terry once wrote , Interesting Times Hester . They may be in for a rude shock and it wont be of the fur coat no knickers variety !
Perhaps the drain blockages were disposing of their loose change .

Island Maid, he is being investigated, I've had to provide evidence of his wrongdoings.

I did wonder how 2 people in part time jobs could afford a wedding costing ££££££!

Am I correct they're on a rolling tenancy ? Hope you've got the notice to quit ready . This could solve two bad situations in one go .

From the previous posts Hester I surmise that your tenants have been pushing their luck in more ways than one. Honestly, you need them like a hole in the head.
I hope that this may be the end of them and a chance for you to get some normal, reliable and reasonable tenants.

I've started trying to give the house a last spring clean in the hope that ONE of my buyers will get themselves into a position to proceed soonish. Not too soon though, there is nothing out there that appeals to me.
Anyway, the removal of fossilized cobwebs can only be a good thing.
I work in the mornings when it's cooler and subside into a little cross, damp heap in the afternoons.

Oh Monna you can't have removed the cobwebs . Don't you remember the Christmas a while back when we were exhausted ? Your tip of chucking glitter on the cobwebs for a festive atmosphere has to be one of the most useful tips ever . I'm sure if there is ever a second osers book it would have been up there with the best .

Onebrokelady welcome. Here's a stool, we can't have you poking your eye through the broken bit. :D

Hester the word gotcha springs to mind.

Thank you money I will keep an eye out for skulduggery amongst the positivity.

Now it's a good day as I think candlelight is back on the other thread. I'm sure her name was in my screen before. :D

Monnagran, I could also send you some grey and damp weather, how much would you like? :)
Back to sweaters and big socks here, and wondering what happened to the heatwave the TV keeps talking about!

Hoping for a visit from DS1 today, but he hasn't confirmed yet. (He could move the sofa and put the table back :))

I will take it all and give you all my hot stifling sunny weather in return. I cannot cope with this heat even with my windows and back door open and curtains closed I am "glowing" brightly.
