You'll survive Ivyleaf. What time do you set off?

I do feel a bit more like me this morning. They are right when they say old age is not for wimps. I have to confess that I thoroughly resent not being able to coast through life the way I always have up until recently. Having to accept that I have to pace myself and that there are limitations on what I can take on does not sit well with me.
And my knee hurts! Moan, moan, whinge, whinge.

    That's quite enough of that.

FairyP. Good news about your father. All those tests, scans etc. were worth it to set your minds at rest. Lets hope all goes well from now on, he will be so glad to get home.

I must go back and read all yesterday's posts again now the brain fog has lifted a bit, but first toast and coffee are called for.
    I'll be back later.

I best clear my diary for next week as Dd is off to China on a business trip, SIL and I will be managing childcare between us.

We need to move our boat tomorrow as we have had our two weeks here, next week we will be moving from one 48 hour mooring to another as we make our way to the dry dock to get our bottom blacked.

Then we will make our way back k in the other direction again. It's bright but cloudy here today at least it is bright enough to charge the batteries.

FPK great news that your Dad is going to be allowed home.

Nargle I'm so pleased the Zomorph is helping; wishing you and Mr N all the best for next Thursday - I'll say it now as I'll have forgotten by then!

We've just had the referral letter for Mr LW to get a neurology appointment. NHS Choices - pfffttt! Three hospitals to choose from, but it's a no-brainer because only one of them is get-to-able, and that's our local one. So we log on - no appointments available - but we can leave a message to be contacted. So we did that; we now have to wait, and if we've heard nothing by next Friday, he's got a number to call.

So off we go again, round and round, with all the worry (I'm a terrible worrier). And to cap it all, I'm having a lupus flare. I needed to wash my hair this morning really, but have had to postpone it til tomorrow as we also had to pop into town to collect Mr LW's meds and get a bit of shopping from the F&V stall and @ldi, and if I'd washed my hair, I wouldn't have had enough energy left for the trip out.

Ah, fiddlesticks to the lot of it!!
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
