Pleased to hear everyone is doing well. I will keep the sick in my prayers.
So pleased you gave Mr PS something to think about. I am still wondering how you managed it. May I suggest you start training for the diplomatic service fuddle.0 -
nargleblast wishing your OH all the best for a speedy recovery
Maryb glad your OH got the attention he needed so quickly and wishing him all the best
Fuddle have a great time at the caravan
Hugs to anyone who needs them xx0 -
A lovely sunny day here, temperature forecast for around 20 degrees.
I might just leave my socks off.
It is nice to know that when my OH is being a git and I am tempted to put a pillow over his face, I can come on here and kick the Garden Fence. At least he is getting more like his old self and is optimistic. He was even talking about getting a wig if he had to have chemo. Anyway, onwards and upwards.
Maryb both my father and my brother had bypass surgery, and they both said the leg hurt more than the chest. They both feel much better after the procedure so your DH has every reason to be hopeful.
Today, May 5th, is designated as World Naked Gardening Day, so take note when on your allotments, Fuddle and Greyqueen.....One life - your life - live it!0 -

Oooh! Thanks for the info about naked gardening day Nargle. Go on fuds, I dare you. If Mr PS recovers from your verbal onslaught yesterday he will have an instant relapse if you turn up in the buff today. On the other hand, if he also has this information HE may turn up in the altogether. EEEEEK!
So sorry to hear about your DH, Nargle. It must have been such a shock.
However if he is planning on wearing a wig I hope he takes the opportunity to be totally outrageous and goes for a Monica (sorry, my tablet is in cahoots with fuddles. Let's try MOHICAN.) or long flowing, golden locks.
What a pleasure to get up in the morning and throw open the patio doors to glorious sunshine. I must scrub the winter grime off my one garden chair so that I can have breakfast outside.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Just lost a long post and can just still hear the distant sounds of cheering.
Sorry to hear the news of your DH Nargle. Thanks for the information about today's requirement of naked gardening.
Go on fuddle, I dare you.
May come back later, in the meantime

Morning all
Sending Get-well wishes and prayers to the poorly people.
We're off out today and taking DD1 with us to a craft show in rural Kent. Always lots of beautiful things to look at and perhaps to buy, and I always hope to find a birthday present for DH, though I've only managed that once, when I bought him a print of a painting of Botallack Mine in Cornwall he fell in love with.0 -
How did that happen??

I was going to do DH's tax return but I shall sit in the garden and read instead
I will probably do some gentle gardening as well - the garden is titchy so it doesn't require too much energy
Enjoy the sunshine everyone! XI have changed my work-life balance to a life-work balance.0 -
Whoo-Hoo a sunny bank holiday
I hope you all enjoy it, watch those thorns those of you taking part in naked gardening
Hugs to those of you having a pants time at the moment x
I feel guilty, as I am going though a rare period of being settled and happy, and so many of you are having 'life bricks' thrown at you, hence my not posting too oftenNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!
