Well fuddle, just see what happens when put your money where your mouth is. You brave girl, (I'm allowed to call you 'girl' 'cos I could just about be your grandmother)
I think Mr P.S. got what was coming to him and will be all the better for it. It sounds as though he took it in good part and he will certainly respect you from now on. It's as well for future dealings with him that you can make a joke of it, but I bet he will think twice before crossing you again.

I'm glad that you are making a friend. Just as well to take it slowly but sometimes neighbours can become lifetime buddies and you can't have too many of them.

LW, nothing, nothing can ever compensate you for what you went through as a child, but I would just hate for that monster to win by making you feel worthless. We all know you for the brave, funny, loving person that you are and wouldn't do anything to make you feel uncomfortable. Please try to love yourself a tiny bit. Please.

mar, you do make me laugh. You are right though. There's not much I can do for people, I would have made a rotten nurse, but give me an unknown number of people to feed and I'm in my element.

My but it was hot walking back from the village this afternoon. I've ordered a cheapish small fan from Argus because my bedroom, though freezing in winter, gets suffocatingly hot in summer. I don't do heat very well.
I've also got my church service organised for Sunday. Just a couple of prayers to write and I'm home and dry.

Meanwhile there's a sinkful of washing up to attend to.

Hope all is well with maryb and her DH

I have been missing for so long. I have That was one epic read back.

I am so sorry to read of others' wibbly wonky hearts.

Maryb, goodness. There's shock and there's oh so 'lucky'. I do hope you're coping with your rock and soul mate being poorly. The worry will be immense for you. I''m sorry to have been absent and not being there to prop you up this past week. I :(

FPK., dear FPK the not knowing is enough without the medics' knowing' something and we have to wait for answers. This happened to me a few weeks back. I was asked by the cardiologist to have a blood test to see if the white blood cells were still elevated after a dose of antibiotics. His thinking was that the whiteblood cells are fighting the inflammation of heart (the myocarditis) so I had the blood test and got a call from the surgery to say that my results were abnormal and to make an appointment next week to talk to the GP. Queue my panic that something else was wrong... all week! It transpired that my white blood cells were elevated (as expected) and that's all it was.

FPK I'm still dealing with the unknown and know there's no point telling you not to worry, I because I worry to but I'm a bit further down the road and a bit wiser for it all ;) the worry should come if we fall through the net and something is missed. There's no point worrying about something that is. Whatever is happening is happening the main thing is it will be got to the bottom of and an action plan, if needed, will be put in place. Plus, if it was urgent you wouldn't be dangling all week ;)

Now monna, be a good girl and take those readings for the GP. I don't like the way you describe those numbers.

Now moorings, cats in windows, wallpaper woes, etc I'm all caught up. Enjoy the nicer weather y'all!

Good for you fuddle. This guy needed to be shown the error of his ways, he's probably never been told about his manner before and when he calms down and thinks about how he's treated people he will thank you. Hope that chest of yours behaves.

Go Fuds!!! Tired Trophy's suggestion is very good too. Have a great time in the 'van and look after that chest!
Got an appointment through to see the cardiologist on Wednesday - I'll find out the results of my tests and see what the next steps will be. I'd got myself worked up over the angiogram totally unecessarily and it didnt achieve anything so that's not going to happen again!
Weather looks good over the bank holiday so might take the boat out for a little sail - got together in practice to go and see Monna. Hope everything everyone gets some time to enjoy the long weekend.
