Sorry so many of you are poorly, hope you get well soon.

    Listen to your friends Burtha!
How lovely of your neighbour VJsmum, you must have needed that sleep.
Floss - you always give such good, clear advice, thank you.

Well, after the snow it's been torrential rain most of the day and a new storm is on its way, hurrah!! At least it's a bit milder, roll on spring.

I'm going to catch up on some of last night's tv and have an early night.

Oh Mar, I take it you are visiting the RV. I hope that you are being given a lift and not trying to get there by bus. I do hope that the RV is OK and nothing has gone wrong. You look after yourself, d'you hear?

burtha, you see I'm not the only one who nags. I don't know what inner voice is telling you to fill every unforgiving minute and that disaster will strike if you give yourself time to think, but shove your fingers in your ears and tell that voice where to go.

Karcher, hope you are still keeping your fluids down and your temperature is no higher.

My prayers for the three of you will keep me so occupied tonight I don't think anyone else will get a look in.

Mardartha lots of positives vibes coming your way.

Burtha Please listen to your friends on here...please!

Checkin' in: I managed a reasonably unsoaked night last night and I have actually slept this afternoon. I feel very nauseous and have been trying to graze on crackers but I feel very light headed and drained of energy. The fever still comes and goes as does the headache but the cough is persistent. Keeping my fingers crossed though as I am *think/hope* I am past the worst.

Thank you all for 'being' there :A

Karcher probably lack of "fuel" to keep you going...do you have any flat lemonade or cola to sip? Hopefully you have now turned the right corner to recovery xx

Karcher one thing for the nausea, try something you fancy rather than what you think is more digestible. Sugar does help so things that are mostly sugar help not things like crackers which are high in fat.

Mar I am sending healing vibes your way and a crate of Jelly Babies.
Karcher have you tried some dry toast with sugar sprinkled on top. When I haven't eaten, even half a piece seems to help settle my tummy.
Sending lots of love to all the poorlies, sad or worried.

It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!
