That cheered me MMF I don't think he is going until next year. He seems to have found something else to live for.
What is happening to all your clients. Were you able to get someone else to take care of them for you?
I think we have now got to tired to sleep. DS says they have a dog now. All I could hear was scratching but then my tinnitus has got bad this last few weeks. Those folks upstairs cannot even put an empty coffee mug down without making a racket. The're stamping again.
I rang a woman up today about her house. She was about half a mile from me and she did not even know where I was. I got a lot of waaart ah waaart ah I gave up they had obviously given me the wrong number.
I have been trying to get somewhere with the website. They will only allow you to ask for within five miles of where you want to be. That means we could be 10 miles away from his work. He would not have time to come home and back again before his next shift. I don't see much hope for anything with this website.0 -
Monna, it is lovely to hear of your kitchen triumphs! I shall cook vicariously today, thanks to you.
My plan for when i do get home is to indulge my creative side by cooking up a storm, as we say. I can't think of anything more comforting. Luckily I have plenty of volunteers to eat the produce, or I'd put on all the weight I've lost this last 18 months
NM, yes, someone has taken on a few of my hours to help my clients and one client is relying on a neighbour! . I have rung round them all every week to let them know what is happeneing and they say they are missing me. Luckily there is no personal care involved, just cleaning, shopping and odd jobs really so their friends can help for a few weeks. Some clients are away for xmas so that takes the pressure off too. Or, it could be that they all find someone else more reliable and sack me in January!!

Sheila Chickens - I took Kelp for a while then it stopped working. Now I'm on steroids and they help a little bit. I still run out of steam very fast but at least I can do my housework in the mornings now0

Monna Christmas lists here - things to do in what order, time is getting away for me.....
My own fault, when offered help, I always refuse, then get stressed because I have too much to do :wall: I need to stop being such a control freak, DH and DS are more than capable
Nursemaggie Have you tried placing adverts asking for houses in the area you want, might be worth a try - the situation sounds awful, you must both be exhaustedNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

I'm off to Malaysia karcher. The one day I could have done with waking up at silly O Clock I woke with the alarm! Flight not until 8.50 this evening so a full days work to do before I go.
I'm meeting my best friend there, although she lives in Australia.

Monna, you can cook. People who can cook don't have demean themselves with housework. You're above that sort of thing. A domestic goddess.
Camelot ooooh missus you're going all exotic - have fun!0 -
Of course mar! Why had I never realised that for myself. I've come up with many excuses for my reluctance to get down and scrubbing, but being a domestic goddess was one I've missed.
I have it now. I love you mar. x
Camelot, here's hoping that you have the most wonderful Christmas. We will want to hear all about it.
nursemaggie, as a short term measure, would some of the ear mufflers such as worn by the operators of pneumatic drills, help. It might help your DS get a bit of sleep.
I must not indulge myself with playing on here today. It's up and at 'em after a shower and a close study of my to-do list.
And now for a description of my life in the
