That's a bit expensive MMF007 but I do like it. Would be handy to keep all of my bits for knitting. I have a plastic cutlery tray with cotton reels in it.
I was thinking of scissors, pins, safety pins, cable needles, stitch holders, tape measure and the like. They would make a nice present for someone who does any craft. I'm surprised they do not advertise them for other things.0 -
Mothernerd can you mark the blister pack of your tablets to say M, T, W etc. Then with a number beside if they are taken more than once? My mum did this with her tablets (arimidex, rheumatism ones, statin) and it seemed to work for her.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Hello all
Just popping in to give you an update on little lad with cancer. DD and DGD made him a hamper and took it over to him last night. The good news is that he has a 90% chance of recovery, the bad is that the treatment lasts 3 years and 10 weeks. Thanks once again for the healing thoughts, I'm sure they helped.
Hester didn't think you'd take that lying down. Good on you.
Mardatha you must be desperate to even think of giving away a jelly baby :rotfl:
Thinking of those in need and sending many hugs your way.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0 -
Ok well, I admit it - I lied about the JB. I ettit earlier.
I need something that sits on top of the unit, I can't reach the floor from here. The cutlery organiser sounds ok for inside the top drawer though, I will look into that thanks.0 -
My first post on the garden fence, I am a regular posted on the daily.
Today has been a very difficult day for us, it is two years today since we got a phone call to say my son had been found dead in bed, a pm showed he had a double aneurysm in his brain which burst.
He was so good to us doing jobs that we were unable to do any more, and helped us to move twice. We miss him so much and for some reason I have found it so difficult this year. Today I have found myself crying for no apparent reason.0 -
Delurking to say have a hug from me Csarina.

Csarina - no reason??! It was a shock, it was devastating and it is your loving son who was taken from you. Only natural to be upset on the anniversary but tears must fall and you can think of all the good times and know he did not suffer. If it is OK I shall send you a virtual hug (((0))) xI have changed my work-life balance to a life-work balance.0

You have every reason to cry and I am so so sorry xxxx'I'm sinking in the quicksand of my thought

Csarina, it is devasting to lose anyone just before Christmas, it seems all wrong, but to lose a son and in such shocking circumstances is unbelievably terrible. No wonder you feel so sad, it would be a miracle if you didn't.
You poor, poor lady. I cannot imagine the grief you must feel. I wish that I could give you a real hug and hold you while you cry all you like.
You are so strong, you must be to let us in to your despair, that cannot have been easy.
Do come and let it all out here whenever you want to. That's what we all do. We have our funny, crazy moments but there isn't one person here who hasn't felt just as you are feeling now.
Bless you.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Csarina sending hugs for you. You have a very good reason to be sad and to cry today, but I hope tomorrow that you can raise a smile at the lovely memories of your son.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0
