Ooooh @burtha I don't know if I can handle that much excitement! 
My plan for tomorrow is to get all presents out and write down what I have for everyone then I can work out if I'm short of anything. Then sort out online food shopping. If I get sorted early in the week I will put our tree up by the end of the week. I would have had it up by now but DH doesn't like it up too soon, so a bit of a compromise.

You all make me feel totally inadequate.
Not only have I not even thought about Christmas, I've not even thought about tomorrow.

Never mind.  I suppose it will happen whether I've thought about it or not.  Tomorrow, I mean.  Christmas will have to look after itself.

monna , some days just getting to finish a days work is  enough to think about.  lol. 
chrismas can go away this year , I'm not ready for it either  . 
to much to do , ... haven't even bought a tree yet . or gifts .. 

it's so cold tonight,  worse tomorrow apparently.  not looking forward to it .

It feels a lot colder tonight. Glad we have the heavy fleece bedspread on top of the duvet. I did my present stocktake and I'm pleasantly surprised that I have almost everything I need for everyone. I thought I was behind with my shopping but almost there. 
To be honest it doesn't feel like the run up to Christmas yet, even though I've watched umpteen films, but no doubt once the tree is up I'll get into the swing of things.
Monnagran, take it easy. You've had such a busy time lately you need to think of yourself.
Burtha, just do what you can without wearing yourself out.

Ouch burtha,  It's easy to dismiss a cold as 'just one of those things' but it can make you feel so wretched and make it almost impossible to keep going.

Lots of hot toddies, comforting huddles in the warm and the occasional Lemsip.
My medical expertise is legendary!

Today is a writing day.  I put off things like writing for things that more immediately important, but have now got to the stage where the writing IS the most important thing to get done.

Christmas is still waiting its turn to be important.

Keep going my loves, we will get there in the end.

Still avoiding various lurgies. The primary school is doing an outdoor nativity with years 1-6 taking part. Nursery and reception are doing their own, indoors thankfully. Those poor children will need thermal underwear tomorrow!
Burtha, it might be worth doing a lateral flow test, just in case, as the symptoms of Delta and possibly Omicron are the same as the common cold, albeit with different levels of illness. At least you would know. Hope you feel better soon.  Listen to monnagran with her words of wisdom! 😁😉🎄

lateral flow tests are negative,  but did a pcr test at lunch time as I'm nhs , so hopefully result back tomorrow.. 
filed  my time constructively this afternoon by running a half marathon on the treadmill.  
sick of sneezing and have a runny nose otherwise I'm good.
