Wow, Superwoman, sorry, I mean Florenceem! Those scarves are fantastic. You must crochet in your sleep. I have a friend who knits so quickly she can turn something out in what seems like minutes.
Hope Mr F dodged the rain. It's been very heavy and muggy up here today to the point that our daughters and I have found it hard to breathe at times. It just rained for a few minutes around 9.30. It doesn't feel any fresher though. Think it might be a warm night.
Yesterday, DH decided he was going to fill in the cracks in the plaster on the path around the bottom of the wall near the front door where ants have been coming through. I suggested using an icing piping bag, as per Barbara on The Good Life, to get it into the space neatly. It worked, although I got the job to do, because I've had more practice. 😉2025 Fashion on the ration

Another lovely scarf Florenceem.
Yesterday we went to the pet shop to stock up on stuff for Beano.
Over the next week I'm stocking up the freezer ready for when we move on. This is the last place that is in walking distance of a supermarket and I have no idea when I'm going to get my car back. Steve was watching me yesterday as I prepped stuff for the freezer, it's the first time he's noticed me rolling the mince flat once I put it in a bag. He couldn't work out what I was doing. I've also grated a huge block of cheese and frozen it in small portions. I've rolled it flat too and put it in boxes with grease proof paper in between.Chin up, Titus out.11 -
Morning Fencers. I'm very tired today so having a lazy one. Nice misty morning here, and I've been to the wee shop for croissants for breakfast.
I am easy pleased!

Hello all, haven't posted for ages as I've been busy with DH and his daily hospital visits for treatment, but the end is insight now, only 2 more this week, Yay! I have tried to read along and was happy see that some daftness is still around... long may that continue as daily life is so serious nowadays.Hester what a good idea about rolling things flat for freezing, I hadn't thought of that. I don't have any problem with freezer space atm, but I have shelved that for future reference for when we can get back to caravanning, hope you don't mind.I am very envious of those who knit/ crochet, I don't seem to be able to sit for long enough to complete anything. I have a butterfly mind and ants in my pants 😂Hope everyone is wellnanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11

MrsCD - Mr F stayed dry.
The scarf is a one row pattern and short rows - I just sit watching Ytub. craft videos - only get up to prepare food & eat and visit the toilet.
Wet day here.
Another scarf to pack away in the makes bag.

Every day I think I really must get back to the knitting. And every day I don't. No willpower!!!9

Hester, I do a similar thing with leftovers for my freezer - they get portioned into small IKEA resealable bags with the contents written on the top & frozen flat. Then when they are solid they are "filed" standing up in one of the drawers and I can see what I've got 🙂2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

That a clever idea Hester. I have an outside freezer as well so space is not too much of an issue for me.
Another exciting day of washing and tumble drying and did some dishes too.
Away to sit and chill catching up on recorded programmes and flicking on the VERY odd occasions to cheer on Italy *ducks and runs* sorry but I’m Scottish10
