Glad to see that the fence is still standing.  Let's not talk about sheds.  The contents of my future shed are piled up by my front door or in my spare bedroom.

Sorry not to be around much, but am still spending every waking moment in the Flat of Doom.  I am beginning to see a bit of difference here and there, but it is slow going. 
 We have the Undertaker coming this morning to finalise arrangements for the funeral next Monday.  I have to be there as David is apt to overestimate his own strength.  He is taking his wife's service, as he took his son's some years ago, the bravest thing I have ever seen.  
I will be close at hand ready to pick up the pieces if necessary.

I will leave you with a Thought that may have to last you a few days until I can get back here again.

Today I'm going to be a lady wot lunches, well nearly.

Steve is going for a blood test because of his gout, as my car is still being repaired he's going part way by train and then getting a lift as the Drs is miles from the station.

So Beano and I are visiting a dog friendly coffee shop for coffee and cake.

 being awol for a few weeks so will catch up the last 15 pages later after work .. 
hope everyone's ok .
my eldest dd , hubbie and 3 kids have the horrid bug , it's not nice , think they are on day 6 of being very unwell .  . 
my youngest dd is in isolation here because she visited the day before the positive result .  ( nothing from t & t yet )

Forecast yesterday said rain here this morning - nope - all change - no rain.
Off to do the ironing.
No photo today as I haven't got a completed item. I am working on a shawl which takes a while.

Sorry to hear that, burtha. From experience I would say if they are no worse by the end of this week then they should recover ok, though it will be a while before they feel 100%. Hope your youngest DD tests negative.

Thanks Shanks, Steve left here about 9 and returned at 2:30, he was exhausted and went to bed for an hour. He managed to buy new trousers, tee shirts and underkecks so that's him sorted for a while.

Beano and I had lunch in a local coffee shop and a nice walk around the common. I finished the hat and scarf I was making for myself.

Just just been to the dentist and now I need a lie down.  Not just because of the treatment (fixing a broken tooth) but because of the cost!

£300 today and another £350 in two weeks time when the permanent tooth is fitted.
