You called? I'm tired and about to drag myself to bed. Will catch up tomorrow. Remember the Parrot has spidey senses and you do love a good spider don't you?

Morning all, she says cheerfully. No more talk of bodies, elephants, parrots, patios, spidery things please. It is a happy day today. The sun is shining and we have a village Street Craft Fair. It is amazing how many arty, crafty people there are around. Gangsta Granny herself, is a brilliant artist. Her daughter is one of those clever people who can see the possibilities in any unpromising object. She will look at a handful of rubbish and turn it into something breathtakingly beautiful. Her granddaughter has inherited all the artistic genes and produces amazing things which a local shop sells for amazing prices.
And that is just one family.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to that. Then I'll be going to ground with the newspaper and the puzzles therein.
I can hardly wait for the day to begin. Which it will when I've managed to prise myself out of bed and into the shower.
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
What day is it?
"It's today," said Piglet.
"My favourite day," said Pooh.

A village street craft fair sounds wonderfully normal now monna. All the different things we loved but took for granted over the years. I hope you enjoyed itI'm way behind on commenting on posts. Can't remember when your church service was but if you've done it I hope it went well even with no singing etc.Pooh and Piglet quotes are always welcome, they got youngest through tough times. More so when you added the kidney stone a few years ago which eased many an anxious wait in hospital waiting rooms. I'd murmer this too shall pass and she would often say don't forget Monnas kidney stone and laugh.I have a framed print of that Steve Jobs quote. It made me smile. Everything my mum said about dreamers not living in the real world, I was called a dreamer in school too. Whether equality for women , fairness for all , the environment mum used to shake her head. It was never going to happen. It did in many ways but still some ways to go. When I Read the Steve Jobs comment years ago I knew I wanted it on my wall. If you have hopes and dreams you have to make them a normal expectation and unite with like minded people. I'm glad this few years after the 2nd WW baby grew up to see all the changes and learned peaceful protest is powerful. Among others Helen Reddy is one of my most powerful influencers. "I am woman" changed so much for so many and still does . I've no idea how many I've pointed that song out to but it continues to empower. Rest in Peace Helen you changed the world.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

Another trip to the charity shop today - I had a huge porcelain doll lingering upstairs - she will be off to a new home soon hopefully and raise money for heart research.
Mr F took another bag full of bottles down to the bottle bank - that cleared out the garage but there are already 3 empty glass containers waiting to be cleaned at the end of washing up.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Morning all.
No Polly, it is today I'm doing the church service. As we are still socially distanced and wearing masks it is all a bit difficult, but I'm intent of giving people 40 minutes of beautiful words and music and an atmosphere of peace.
It will be different anyway.
THOUGHT FOR SUNDAY
Prayer is not just something we do. Prayer is a mindset, an attitude, an atmosphere we create.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Youngest Son called by - he stood in the driveway - after dropping Stanley at his swimming lesson. Finally passed over the children's Easter eggs. Also gave him some of the YS 10p free range eggs.
Watched the Church service.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
