It was lovely Ivyleaf. I used to listen to Jonnie Walker on the radio while mopping the kitchen floor before my mum got home. I'd have a little look at the Welsh hills each time I took a break.

It's a strong word but I despise school bullies. Few of them ever realise the damage they inflict which can often follow their victims through life. Verbal bullying can stay with many through adulthood and if not dealt with ruins mant peoples futures.

There are a number of posts I'd like to reply to but so far I'm still getting those silly spaces. It's not the laptop so it has to be MSE.

pollyanna_26 - I was taught to sew and knit at school but not crochet.
monnagran - love today's thought. I had to google Cory Booker but pleased to read that he is a Democrat.
Mr F shares his Birthday today with my middle Son Ben who has 5 siblings to receive cards from. Mr F is an only child with no relatives apart from an elderly Aunt in Germany.

Florenceem they are lovely wristwarmers!

We went for a lovely walk today (somewhere new, woohoo!) and I went over on my ankle and it is still really hurting. On a more positive note I managed to get hold of two broccoli plants from someone local. Never grown it before, wish me luck lol!

OH FRABJOUS DAY.  IT'S  HAIR CUT DAY.

Sadly I have to wait until this afternoon, but will be able to set off late morning as it is a 2-bus ride away.  I am so excited at the thought of appearing in public without a bag over my head.

The forecast for my patch of the IOW today is 2° and snow showers.  I bet they are lying, snow is almost unknown down here on the Continent.  However, I may be in the market for some of those wrist warmers Florenceem.
