monnagran - this is a house of 2 weirdos.
silvasava -not seen any aliens here - yet.
Well - the window cleaner is due today - that is the excitement of the day. Still not needing to go out for shopping although my Sister has asked me to pick up a couple of things for her.
Finished the poncho - handing it over tomorrow - it is for our local night shelter manager. She is excited - hope she likes it. (Please excuse my messy craft table in the photo.)
I have ordered yarn for a Gryffindor blanket so that is next for the hook.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Morning all.
Sorry I didn't appear yesterday, I've had tablet troubles.
However long do those wonderful crochet pieces take you, Florenceem?
as for the messy craft table....ahem!........visit me sometime, I'll teach you the meaning of 'messy'.
It looks very bright out there this morning and the radio has just reminded me that the hour goes forward at the weekend. Rats! I don't wake up until gone 9am at the moment and I'm more than ready for bed at 9.pm. I love dark mornings and dark evenings. I really don't think that 10.am to 10.pm is going to work for me, it takes my body clock ages to adjust to the change this way round.
THOUGHT FOR TODAY

monnagran - I crochet in the evening while watching You Tube videos - no TV. I can't just sit and watch a screen - never could when we had a TV. The crochet poncho was made over 7 evenings. Pleased to say recipient loved it.
Lovely day here - even ventured out without a coat but did have my wrap on. My ordered yarn is coming today so I can start a blanket. I did make a wrist warmer last night - who knows when I will do the other hand as the blanket will take me quite a while. Photo taken in Mr F's extremely messy office.
I have a really messy craft storage room upstairs.

florenceem the poncho is beautiful .
I'm trying to remain carm over the last 2 days , the frog is traveling back , jumping through hoops with pcr tests , border controls, currency stuck outside France waiting to drive to the tunnel, the whole thing has me feeling a bit sick , impending red list and more pcr tests to be done .but needs must .
need to keep myself busy , running stress relief and maybe doing some proggy rug when I can't sleep later .
it's sunny here but very breezy , been watching a frog splashing into my very small pond , have been feeding the birds too but all I seam to have here is very fat pigeons .
planning on taking the youngest ds out for a mini driving lesson now , roll on the 12 April when I can book some real lessons , think I may need nerves of steel now lol£223/ £250 GC7 -
burtha, you are a braver woman than I would be. Nothing in this world would have persuaded me to teach either of mine to drive. Both of them are excellent drivers, but they both remember how tense I was when being a passenger in their cars.
"Mother, you'll wear that bit of carpet out," was a constant remark as I hopefully put my foot on where the brake should be while sitting in the passenger seat.I believe that friends are quiet angels
