Go monna! Once you get going it won't be half as bad as you thought it would be.
We have the infant children back at school here but no vaccinations for staff mentioned at all. We'll see how it goes!11 -
That's not good Camelot, teachers need to be vaccinated too. I did see a petition going round to get teachers vaccinated that I signed but I hav'n't got a link to it.Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle12

Change.org are doing the petition for jabbing teachers if anyone's interested.
Thanks to everyone for celebrating the positives of this episode. We may prefer it not to have happened, but it has, and those who keep a positive or at least a stoic mindset will have a better chance of emerging physically and mentally intact from it.

My teacher Son took Grandson - special needs for his jab. They did his as carer. My teacher daughter has not had jab and she has asthma. Head teacher daughter got hers when a portal was shared in error.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Morning Fencers.
Just grabbing a moment while watching India thrash England at cricket. I have a bath towel ready for mopping up my tears.
Raining here at the moment. Wish it was doing the same in Ahmedabad. I was there once. Not playing cricket I hasten to add. I was there when they had their big kite festival. We went up on to the roof to see the sky filled with kites. At night people tied lanterns on to the tails of the kites. It was absoslutely magical and I dont think anyone had done a Risk Assessment.
Enough of memories, back to Grim Reality.
The ROD will have to wait for a cricket free day. It's OK. It is quite happy wallowing in its squalor.
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Sometimes you just have to slap on the lip gloss and pretend to be psyched.I believe that friends are quiet angels
Who lift us to our feet when our wings
Have trouble remembering how to fly.10 -
Where is everyone?
No TV here to watch cricket.
Will do some sewing - had some bits to repair sitting here for ages and coin purses for SA fund raising to finish.
