I think it's people avoiding crowds, working from home and wearing masks.

Wish youngsters here would take Covid seriously - still gathering in large groups in town.
Finished 10 purses yesterday for SA fund raising.
Going to attempt Easter bunnies next.

hi everyone
it's sunny
finished work for the week , pottered about in the garden in the sun for a bit , drank coffee with the dog .... the house is quiet . it's odd lol but nice
the frog is hopeful to be back in the UK by April, wait and see ..very strange few month without him ,although I do like my own space ....
we have a new mh now so it would be nice to be able to get out , when it's safe to do so
now just working out what I need to do with it to make it more "ours "
dd2 has taken her self for a walk , it's amazing... would I be to optimistic in hoping that she has turned a corner after the last few years .
disease related stuff ... I'm sitting on the fence with this but at work , we have had very small numbers of people with sickness , head lice, colds, buying over the counter meds .. lots of flu vaccines were done . don't know if that's down to covid restrictions or if people just not going out . probably to early to tell .
right , enough sitting about I need to run.

O god I canny face doing that tonight, might try it early in the morning though. I got tons of digestives I need to use up, will do the biscuit base. TY GB! Any idea of how much cream to cheese etc?

Cheesecake - 1 carton soft cheese and a small carton (150 mls) double cream. Whip together, best done with a stick blender to save your energy. The base is crushed digestives and melted butter, put into tin and chill in fridge before spreading cheesecake mix on. If your topping is going to be a chocolate or toffee one, melt a bar of white chocolate and mix into the cheese and cream mixture. This also works if your final topping is going to be the kind of fruit that goes well with white chocolate, i.e. strawberries or raspberries. So, make base, chill in fridge a short time till cold, make cheesecake bit and put on top, leave in fridge a couple of hours till firm then put final topping on. Keep in fridge till ready to serve, then find an excuse for RV to take a very long drive somewhere while you deploy a very large spoon.

Ming, you can deploy all sorts of things with cheesecakes. I have stirred a spoonful of lemon curd into the cheese mixture and scattered tiny bits of crystallized ginger over the top for a lemon and ginger fanatic. It went down well. Honestly, the sky's your limit.
burtha, enjoy your own space. The life you have lived ever since I have known you has been chaotic. You have, while coping with your own troubles, shocks and sadness, also been dealing with your children and getting them through everything that life has thrown at them, plus holding down a job and coping with complicated finances. It's your time now my darling. Enjoy every moment.
I hope that your DD really has turned a corner. It probably isn't the final turn she will have to make, but it's a start and summer is coming, so who knows what is round that corner for her.
Lovely day here. So nice to go out without being bundled up in coats, scarves and gloves. I may even tackle a few weeds. This year I really must tackle this garden.
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Nothing sucks more than that moment in an argument when you realise that you are wrong.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Reminiscing, I made Nigella's Key Lime Pie once. It was delish...but condensed milk and double cream....my dears, the calories!9
