Lakeland Fridge Bags
Do any of you use these bags, and more to the point, re-use them? Apparently they 'breath' and are coated with a magic Japanese powder (you couldn't make it up!) to stop spoilage. They work out about 40p each and I wonder if they can be washed or wiped out for re-use. I have had some grapes in one which feels a bit tacky now on the inside.

Yes, they can be washed & reused. My mum used to buy them from Lakeland years ago.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

hi
feel like I'm.playing catch up again , work / life balance is a bit of a juggle .
garden stuff sounds wonderful, it's been very grey and damp here today definitely not garden weather .
always running weather lol .. I'm pushing it this month and aiming to do 200 miles . I should have been running the Lisbon marathon at the end of this month , was the start of my birthday celebrations planned , 2 other marathons and 1 half was the plan . not now so let's see what I can do .
Will have to check where I'm at with my journey up to north Scotland....
This week has gone quickly .

Sorry for yesterday's whingefest. I will be happy, I will be joyful, pointed remarks will be shrugged off, laughed off and if all else fails I will walk to the canal bank and sit on the one of the supports for the road bridge (want to go to the country park but it's too far for me atm and all the places to sit are on the far side). This is my life and it will be good. Whatever doesn't kill us gives us a set of unhealthy coping mechanisms and a very dark sense of humour. Love the poking a stick at the day monna. It's like the trying to take one day at a time but sometimes a lot of days rush at me all at once.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage9

mothernerd as far as I can see your very intitled to your whingefest , sometime it pays to vent as we can't change what else is going on . escape to any bank you want to , to sit and ponder , dream of other stuff other than your reality. looking after your mum sounds interesting. but just do what you can when you can ref the garden, small steps x
it's very grey and cold here this morning, woukd be nice to see some blue skies .
last night was spent in conversation with youngest dd ds about next week's return to college , test test test and final bits of end of year course work that may be in or out of college, with lots of what ifs and plans for what ifs in place . I don't know who I feel sorry for most , the teachers ? kids? parents ? all of it is ???? a mess .
right a better walk the dog, otherwise she will not be impressed when I leave for work
have a good day whatever mischief you get up to

So. I spent 40 minutes patiently tapping out a post with my index finger, leaned over to pick up my exercise book to choose a TFT, touched the wrong bit of my tablet and turned it off. !!!!!!!
Sort version ...mothernerd, we love you, keep moaning, you need it.
Living-proof, if they are Lakelands green veg bags, yes they work and yes you can wash them.
burtha, you are mad. Good luck to your DD.
Polly, you are a great comfort to me.
Everybody.....All together now....Chin up. Tits out.

Thanks @Floss and @monnagran, that is a relief and I shall give them the care they deserve!
I am totally gob-smacked, having minutes ago just received an email from my bank which is M & S. I thought it was a scam at first, but not so - they are closing all current accounts and regular savings accounts. The whole communication didn't make much sense to me to be honest. I will now have to take a gamble on which local bank to switch to - and hope that doesn't get closed down in the near future.
