No snow here but it keeps threatening. We do have that icy bitter wind that will cut you in half though.

Burtha IMO some people are so rude, seem to think it's their right to be so and damn the consequences to others in the firing line.

We had snow at the weekend, then it cleared, started again yesterday, snowed on and off all day, then cleared, we woke this morning to around 2" of snow, the road has cleared but not the gardens. Forecast is for more snow tomorrow......wonderful.

Morning all.

I'm a non-competitor in the snow-fest.  So far I think Ming is the hands down winner.  It is absolutely freezing though.  I had to do my morning ritual of thawing out the water in the paint roller tray.  A number of birds sat on the fence in a huddle waiting impatiently.

Today I'm making the last batch of clementine marmalade until next Christmas.  I've orders for 3 more pots and am hoping I might be able to keep some for myself.  I think that its the mention of Cointreau that makes it so attractive.

Nothing else of note happening here.  I'm hoping for an afternoon of sitting by the fire, watching a Foyles War that I have recorded and knitting.  I love lock-down.

It  has to be slightly less freezing here today, the bird bath was not as frozen as it has been.  The wind is biting though.  Next door has a skip in their front garden that is due to be collected in the next couple of days and I've been invited to fill up the spaces in it.  So I've been dragging stuff about and hurling it in.  What's the betting that I'll be looking for some of that stuff in the near future and wondering where it went?

I think it is official now that the brain here has finally given up.  I sort of realised that yesterday when I found myself trying to answer the phone on the TV remote.  I simply couldn't work out which button I had to press to speak to whoever was calling.  Scary!

morning , playing catch up 
after a few rough dsys at work , worlds mad  ... 
thought I'd have a take away last night , replace a few calories as I've been walking to from work , cars still stuck on drive ..... ski' s would be fantastic around here atm .... so thought I'd chill and have a decent nights sleep last night .... nope , something was banging outside all night , thing I dropped of at 6 wide awake now ...  went out in my dressing gown at 3 thinking it was the bin so moved that , was like bambi on ice , it was freezing .... and yeah it wasn't the bin banging ..... 
need a get a coffee and come back to bed now.  work out what im doing today , it's so cold
be careful if you do have to go anywhere today folk x
