You can't say LOCK Lomond up here. You'll get deported.
Gota wee bit of snow this morning, nice and white outside.

Morning all....must admit slightly envious of those of you with some snow....itching to wear my old snow boots.
Have had to resort to bread machine this morning so lovely smell of baked bread everywhere. My other half takes the groceries to his Mum as her carer and only took our loaf too...discovered this last night at 8pm when he wanted toast and no bread.!!! Air was slightly blue.

Ferry cross the Mersey and Gerry RIP......spent 6 months in the States years back and didn't have any pangs of being homesick until the song started on TV news and it showed the ferry and view of Liver building....shed so many tears and just wanted to be nearer home.

I was up at 2 until 3 doing the same thing burtha but thank god no work to go to today. We got another couple inches through the night, looking very chrismassy outside now but I really want spring. I got ten wee lavender plants from the garden centre and had to bring them inside, with so much now snow and minus 5 overnight I thought they might not survive. Not sure what to do with them now, heat of the house will probly kill them faster than the cold will.

I've just this minute found a big plastic groundsheet so wrapped them in that - leaving the tops open- and have put them back outside where they'll get the sun. If we see the sun today..
