I don't think there can be anyone in the country not aware of the pandemic now but bad behaviour seems to be across all age groups.  There are people who think it's acceptable to pop to the shop a couple of times a day for scratch cards, ok to pop in with the children while getting exercise to pick up sweets.  It's not acceptable and DH now thinks it's only a matter of time before he gets the virus.  We're having to keep separate in our own home so hopefully I'll be ok.  He has already had six of his team go off with the virus.

Well he may have dementia, there are some people who are just not getting it.

I always give my veg box delivery man a good clap when he comes now, from a distance, and leave him a little note of appreciation, seeing as how I can’t give him a hug! 😁

Not only can I not lounge because it bounces, but it also makes me photosenstive. I'm betting the weather changes round about when that side effect wears off

I'm going to put a note out for all the delivery people/milkman etc on the door. They're obviously not going to want to take anything I've touched

pyxis , first of all I'm sending a hug .. 
hope your ok , it's frustrating for us to , everything has happened so fast , and we are struggling to cope too . 
as I'm in a small pharmacy we are trying to protect our  ,at risk customers , but it's so hard ... 
we are now hoping to work with new groups who.could help deliver meds , .. please check with your gp about your other meds , hopefully you have a couple of weeks left so check in about a week before you need them x 

other news ... I didn't move gravel today , chilled out then went for a walk with 🐸 ..thankfully were I walk nobody normal goes that way lol ... 
then ran a few miles at home on the treadmill . would be nice is others followed the rules  . 
🐸 cooked tea and now a couple of glasses of 🍷 
hope you  have all had a nice   , stress free day 💚

Thanks for all the info burtha. It's confirmed I wasn't imagining all the different med shortages over the past 18 months or so. I've been hanging on the phone again but finally spoke to a Pharmacist a few minutes ago. She's going to have everything ready to collect. I'm going to aak what happened about dds notification texts and the landline back up and ask them to set the nitifacrion texts again. She said they close 4,30 but each time I've been earlier and they were closed.

Relax now Pyxis. Dd is asthmatic too but Superdoc makes sure she has enough inhalers as a back up if needed otherwise she;d be in meltdown even without a Pandemic. Don't know if your Dr does the same.

Pyxis was it you who posted about the Ativiral/Bacterial hand foam a long time ago on WaSs thread? We've been using it ever since when out and about and it has helped minimise the number of bugs dd picks up. I buy the big one now and decant into the smaller continers as you did and it seems to last a long time. It's alcohol free but seems to be doing the job at the moment minus the alcohol. If it wasn't you it may have been Elsien. Whoever it was I'm glad I wrote the info down when I read the post.

Yes, it was me. I’ve been using it ever since someone having chemotherapy said that the hospital recommended she used it to avoid infections.

Boots started running out of it a few weeks ago, and it hasn’t been available since, although I’ve still got some, and anyway, as I’m not going out, I just wash my hands.

Re the inhalers, the problem wasn’t with the doctor’s prescription but with me not being able to go to the pharmacy to collect them and not having anyone to go for me.

I’m even more intrigued by the frog now! 😁
