I’m a cool summer apparently and supposed to look good in pastels but have nothing in those colours, just don’t gravitate to them at all.

Haven't got a clue. And haven't got a clue. Do I care? Noooo! Friend showed me a really purple hair pic last night. Lovely. Want. Will see. It's difficult to upkeep I think, my plum hair needs doing regularly as well.

I'll be dying my hair today, nothing outrageous unfortunately. Just covering the greys. Don't want disapproval from the family. My DD does have a tendency to go on and on and on. I'm all for an easy life!

Jazee , it's your hair, your look, and if you can afford a good hairdresser they can do a colour job that looks amazing. People will soon get used to the new you.

    Thanks for that Nargleblast.

Have actually just done it, light brown, and have to say I'm really pleased with the result. In my youth I used to dye my hair in various bright colours but changed when I got all professional at work. Maybe when I fully retire I'll give it a go again.

I used to dye my hair blonde but let it grow out when I had a few months sick leave. The new growth was silver so I tried purple and blue lights to go with it. People are always complimenting me on it, and it suits my skin tone better than the blonde did. It now looks like my base colour is purplish with silver and bluish streaks. That's as far as my rebellion goes, though, no tattoos or piercings!

I used to dye my hair but decided to give up, couldn't be bothered to keep it up. Turns out it's still blonde - fairly grey in places but definitely still blonde. Makes me wonder why I bothered!

I've started to dye mine (have it dyed) a light brown, almost dark blonde colour. it hides the greys better. Eventually I will probably dye it silver, but i'm not ready yet.

I know there's many who like to stay natural and let it go grey naturally. I envy them.... But I just can't.. DD's hair is currently pink and I really like it..

Been hedgelaying today but OH fell from about 1.5 metres high down a sheer embankment flat onto his back  Was a bit scary cos at one point he passed out with his eyes open.... 'the lights were on an no-one was home' :rotfl: we came back home and he seems ok now. I think he'll be stiff and sore tomorrow. it was the first time he'd ever hedgelaid and i'm not sure he'll come again... (I was pleaching a branch that he was hanging on to to tension it - then it snapped!). It was by the side of a railway and he was lucky not to hit his head on the track...

I was planning on joining an introductory hedge laying day. Think I might give it a miss now, sounds dangerous and I don't do danger!
