We came back last night from a weekend in Bruges, I think my long jaunts away are now on hold until submission at the end of April..
Onwards - trying to get this chapter finished before DD and I go off to the cinema to see David Copperfield tonight.I wanna be in the room where it happens2 -
Nope nothing exciting going on here unless you want to hear about me travelling to appointments? No? Thought not lol1
-
Nothing exciting here either, apart from me sitting on my back end all day knitting and floating around the net. Re-reading Holmes for the 5 millionth time. Following the coronavirus closely on Twitter. Making plans and lists of things that need done,, then not having the energy to do them. Usual life chez Madarthur1

Mar - how is the RV?I wanna be in the room where it happens1

Much better than he was VJs, but he seems to have aged. I don't like it! He sees the cardiac nurse tomorrow at the hosp.1

Mar, the RV is probably scared. It takes a long time to recover from a major operation and he is probably frustrated that he hasn't bounced back to 100% health and fitness yet. Men are impatient little creatures, slow and steady isn't in their vocabulary. Mentally and physically he is still fragile, which is another thing the macho ones don't do.
Possibly after another couple of months, when he is a bit stronger and the Spring is springing, he will feel a bit more like himself. Fingers crossed.
I dunno Shanks, if it comes to a toss-up between your appointments and my household chores, which don't stand a snowball's chance in hell of getting any attention at all, I reckon there's no contest.
So we will wait with baited breath for the list of your appointments.I believe that friends are quiet angels
