Morning all.
Don't worry about colours burtha. My colours depend entirely on what I can pick up in the CS. The only colours I tend to avoid if possible are Autumny colours, which do nothing for me. Apart from that, anything goes.
Heavens VJs. I hope your OH is OK today. That sounds nasty. I always thought that tangling with nature was a risky thing to do. My garden bears witness to this belief.
Off to the exotic delights of the Cash and Carry today. Do I know how to live!I believe that friends are quiet angels

ooh monna, cash and carry ...I'm impressed ...those places are dangerous, or maybe that just with kids ...
it's freezing up here, streets are icy£223/ £250 GC0 -
Hope your OH isn't too stiff and sore VJsmum, sounds nasty.
I used to love the C&C monna, now I just think of it as another shop to be avoided but it has its uses.
Snow here this morning, well more sleet really but everywhere is white all the same.0 -
Snow here too and more to come today0

Snow here too and more to come today
You'll be out in it with yer wellies and mittens making a snow person, won't you?!
Years ago, myself and my housemates were vastly amused to watch a group of students build an anatomically correct snow couple on the verge opposite our house.
Most artistic! :rotfl:Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Jazee - I don't think hedgelaying is a particularly dangerous sport. It was just cos we were doing it on the railway embankment. You might get some 'dings' in your hands.. blackthorn is good hedge, but gives quite nasty dings... OH got a massive headache yesterday that is still there today and so is having a quiet day. He does tend to manically dash off here and there so he hasn't given himself time to recover and his body is now telling him he has to.
Beautifully bright here - I need to get a wash on but OH is snoring and I don't want to waken him, so it'll have to wait.
Otherwise I've a day of typing ahead - and I can book up for Oxfam to steward some music festivals today. Not Glastonbury as I have a ticket :T (I may have said that once or twice) but am probably going to do one called Beautiful Days and steward a sponsored walk for the Gurkhas at the end of September. I'll probably do one or two other festivals but will see what my diary is like - and their availability.
Have a good day allI wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
