Maybe I'm odd, but I get more pleasure out of food shopping than clothes shopping. When clothes shopping I have an idea of the style and colour I want, and if I see something that ticks my boxes I often get a couple. In Tesco yesterday I found trousers that were a bit more fitted and tailored than jeans, and they were a short length leg, which on me fitted perfectly to the ankle. I tried a pair on, was pleased with the fit so got two pairs, black and navy. Trousers sorted, but disappointed with general colours on sale, slushy dull colour schemes. Does anyone really look good in mustard yellow? I wanted a couple of brightly coloured tailored looking cardigans but couldn't find any such thing.
I can't stand going into clothes shops as they usually have really loud music which puts me off. And big supermarkets, like aircraft hangars, make me feel dizzy. One life - your life - live it!0 -
Black people look good in Mustard and Mar's great grandson it is really his colour.0

I glanced into M & S on my way past yesterday (Our shopping mall has the M & S food on one side and clothing on the other) and you could tell Spring was coming because it looked full of pale pastels which I look awful in
Mind you, I also look awful in mustard.0 -

I look alright in mustard.... I'm a 'warm autumn' colouring wise. Hair is brown naturally / light browny blonde now, brown eyes, pale skin... so I look alright in autumn colours (except, bizarrely, brown) - purple, green, dark red, orange, teal, navy, gold / mustard, …(you know if you're a warm autumn if you suit teal, apparently)
I look AWFUL in pastels...I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
I suit any and all colours. Mainly cos I couldn't care less! Haaaaa! Not mustard though. Well I might do but I bought something in mustard and it just looked like a form of pooo! Colour wise not style I hasten to add!
And I cannot stand the really loud music anywhere either a) cos it's not sung by the real people b) it always appears to be some female singer who can't so yells it instead.0 -

I look AWFUL in pastels...Snap, I'm a warm autumn, too, although my eyes are khaki green and my once-auburn hair is mostly-white. And my most recent chazzer top happens to be teal and looks great.
Pastels make me look like death warmed up.
I hate, loathe and detest shopping with a passion. 5-10 mins of browsing in the couple of favourite charity shops a couple of times a week is fine, anything more than that and I'm getting panicky and wanting the exit in a rush.BTW, Nursie says to tell all you naughty girls to behave or she'll come around with the Medicine mwah ha ha.

I'm a Winter when it comes to colours, so red, royal blue, grey, white, purple, black, emerald green, that kind of thing. Colours like yellow, orange, brown etc look muddy on me.One life - your life - live it!0

I WANT your top.... even though I haven't seen it...:D:rotfl:
It's not tres glamorous, just a simple F & F slit neck top, three buttons in a row on each shoulder (also teal, purely decorative) and three-quarter length sleeves.
I'm wearing it with the trousers I got at the same time, C0untry Casuals, herringbone faux wool look, super cut and perfect fit.
And the best? Both came from the Everything 50p chazzer !! Winning !!:rotfl:Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.
