VJ I notice it's goodbye Guy Garvey - I still love that song- and Hello Hamilton .That's also brilliant .Through flu, viruses and little sleep I've been amusing myself rewriting songs . It started with an Abba number and has gone on . Hamilton is well suited to reworking so that's next on the list .I do not want to be in the room however .

Hi polly - yes, have an obsession with Hamilton since seeing it in January.. I'd love to see some of your rewrites. I occasionally write a bit of poetry (usually amusing (I hope) personalised stuff - i wrote one for my dad's funeral that began "there was a young lady from Hitchin" :rotfl:). I don't want to be in the room "where the sausage gets made" but, in another song, would like to "sit under my own vine, and fig tree":rotfl:
I wanna be in the room where it happens

Monnagran has been offline a while due to internet connection problems. The last I heard she should be moving in the Spring sometime.

    Hi all,
Love the comments about dating again , think I just decided that I want to have some fun , sick of all the crap over the last 2 year , if I get hurt it's life .. hopefully not but at times I'm just grateful that i am still here , who knows what's around the corner , the brain tumor is still the same , scan was end of Dec , so I just manage as I am ... for now . So I either sit on the fence and watch the world pass me bye or join in ... I'm 47 years old , life's short
other news .... eldest daughter had a baby girl 2 weeks ago ... After everything she has been through I'm just extremely happy they are both fit and well . 8 lb 8oz ....
And I got my place in the great north run for this sept , whoop whoop . Hopefully smash last year's time .
This year's going to be good ...
Even if the house is still up for sale and still not quite divorced from 3mw , slow progress .
need ideas as to what I can put in tubs in the garden, new house built about 10 years ago , garden is small and just grass and as I'm probably not staying here for more than a year I want to move things with me .but don't think I've see a bird it it since I moved in , put feeders up but no where for the birds to land .. any help

Lovely to hear from you burtha, and congratulations on your granddaughter :j Glad she and her mum are both well.

Good news re great North Run too :)

Not much help about the birds, sorry, all I can think of is perhaps putting up a bird table? DD has one and she has just made some fatballs to put in a feeder. Mind you, there weren't any birds feeding from them when we were at her house today!

Going to see how easy it is to make one now .... otherwise my birthday is early March so may just have to ask my new other half :D

Just popping in to say congrats to Nanny Burtha :j. Try putting some seeds on the floor as some birds only feed floor level, like blackbirds and robins. HTH.
I hope that everyone else is Ok too. Hugs to anyone who needs or wants one.
    nan xx
