We were given a leg of lamb by a neighbour, he was given a meat hamper and didn't want the lamb, it took 4 hours to cook in my crappy little cooker and once it was cold and sliced it's made enough for 5 roast dinner for the 2 of us, a big pan of Irish stew, and 6 rissoles.

Hi all,
Hope everyone's in good form .. I'm plodding through crap still, movement hopefully with divorce since head partner took it on , but still waiting ...but as he's wanting to get married asap Hopefully things will progress soon ...
I've a few days on holiday now , seam to be spending it sorting out ... had 3 house viewings Today .... Dont think any will make a offer .... but I've viewed a rental today that ticks the boxes , so fingers crossed I pass all the checks .... never rented before so it's a bit odd .... hey ho ... fingers crossed we could be in by next week ?? Heating and hot water .... simple realy ....
So I walk away , give the keys to the egents and let them sell this place .... or repossession .... whatever happens first .... need kids warm and sorted ... no idea if I'm entitled to housing benefit but don't care.... if I spend all my wage on rent and bills at least we're warm ...
Right I'm off for a run.... heads a bit puddled tonight , take care everyone x

A bit of a black joke burtha. Still its good that you can get out of that house. Can the solicitor point you in the right direction for HB. 3mw will have to help towards the housing of his children, surely.

I have just come off the phone to the person buying my house. She is so frustrated at the lack of progress. She had been sure we would have moved before Christmas and as there is only a chain of 4, so was I. Anyway, January looks to be most hopeful. I may string some Christmas lights between the boxes.

Im usually running here there everywhere and doing jobs inside and out but all I seem to do is very little and on the sofa every afternoon , plus going to bed at 8 ish......The woodburner is the only thing I want right now......

I done nice beef stew in slow cooker today and just had a plateful , put plenty veg in was very tasty indeed , good old winter grub .....

As Madarther and I dont like cooking much , so he slow cooker is my friend .......

Hope your all well , and Burtha im sorry for all your housing problems and the moving at this time of year , im sure you will get housing and council tax benefits....
