I did a nice beef stew in my new slow cooker yesterday and it was beautiful, its actually only been the past month that ive owned one , and what a godsend that is and so easy to use .....But I will get a cookery book on food done in slow cookers , as you can tell I dont really like cooking at all , id rather be outside chopping wood or cutting the grass , just never found cooking or baking interesting ......

But I do love housework , washing ironing etc , oh I get so much pleasure out of a clean home ........

But I do love eating though :D.......

FUDDLE ....Where roughly do you live in the country now , ? because if I remember correctly you did move a few times a few year back , I hope your settled and happy with your life wherever you are ......

Sheila I will happily do all your cooking for you if you fancy cleaning my house. You don’t even have to iron cause I don’t believe in it and only buy clothes that don’t require ironing xx

Morning Silver Oldie - looks like it's just you and me then!
I think there won't be an awful lot of kondoing before Christmas as most of us are sorting presents and cards and food!
We did kondo the dining room floor on Wednesday though - not the floorboards, just the chipboard and lino tiles that were fitted on top. I'm getting to know the men at the tip quite well now lol.
Tilers are here today to lay a new floor -yipee!

Whoops - thought I was on the kondo thread - sorry all - too early in the morning for me ;)
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

I wondered where this thread had gone as I couldn't find it  Glad it's still ticking along.
We have had a lot of Drs, consultant and hospital visiting going on, but there is only one appointment left before Xmas. Unfortunately it's one for DH and an oncology review. Just not looking forward to that one :(. We will be relieved when it's over........ good or bad, as it's the not knowing that makes us worry more.

Hope everyone is well. Take care all.

Sorry, I tend to just flick down the first page seeing who I can annoy.

Honestly Silvasava! It's a wonder you can find your way home.

When all else fails Mar, just keep knitting. I don't have anything on hand at the moment, a lot of sewing up, which I loathe with a passion, but nothing to keep my fingers busy while I am reading or watching TV. It makes me twitchy.

nannywindow all the best for the last appointment. I do so agree with you, whatever the outcome it is better to know the verdict. Uncertainty is horrible.

Today is weird weatherwise. Either pitch black, blowing a hoolie and lashing rain or bright, bright sunshine. I wish it would make up its mind, the lights have been on and off and the curtains drawn and indrawn endlessly.
I prefer the dark, wind and rain. I'm quite happy to shut the world out and make things cosy.
Added to which all the Christmas decorations look wrong and sad in the sunshine.

Propping my eyelids open with matchsticks today; Mr Wolf headbutted me at 02:40 this morning, then proceeded to kick, fidget, and talk loudly for the rest of the night, thus ensuring no sleep for Yours Truly.

Bless him, he has no idea he's doing it, as he's fast asleep.
