Oooh a late night for me! Just in after dropping folk off and the cheek of some children who have taken my space in the drive and I’ve had to park on the street!Busy day. Out into town with mother. Met someone I know in M&S who gave me a 20% off voucher which I then passed on to the person behind me! It was use by today. Then gave the person parked behind me my parking ticket which still had over an hour left.Nipped into a couple of charity shops. Got a pair of M&S khaki trousers and a monsoon dress. Then a very pretty necklace form accessorize that had a long chain with a filigree leaf .Dropped off the mother and home. Hello doggy! DD2 sent home from work sick. Please stay away from me.Made 2 cheesecakes. Topped cupcakes. And whipped the cream for pavlova...see later!Popped down to work with cakes and birthday balloons. Ended up staying for an hour helping as it was a bit chaotic.Home for quick shower and change then back out again picking folk up. We’d organised a surprise party for a colleague...much lies and subterfuge! Other cook had made pasta and pizza and I did the puds. Went to fill pavlova with cream...that would be the tub of leftover pasta! So there’s a full tub of cream in my fridge!A good evening with much chatter and laughter. But so late for me!13

Wish we could see HOW late, mhags, but that's this wretched new Doesn't Work mse platform, so SNARL....again.
1. Busy busy busy CS day yesterday. No time to stop all day, so was looking forward to free emporium cappuccino. Turned very cold by afternoon.
1st World Disaster - machine broken, again.
2. Really enjoyed strange-sounding slow cooker casserole - pork ossobuco+black pudding+vin rouge at heart - with rtc courgette/mushroom/garlic+olive oil.
Scrummy. Naughty rtc Marlborough bun+milky drink enjoyed after.
3. Fence down troubles again, advised by young neighbours. They are sorting 'before Ellen'! ....thus & learnt of yet another storm on way. Frith, this made me check your area - yes, much worse. Thank goodness you managed son's departure this time! Regarding France....you've been here before, if I'm not mistaken:-) Hope it happens this time.
4. Potage Flamande done, always lush, even more so with rtc sprouts(bop fave)and ditto cream. From Delia Smith's old Frugal Food, so mse in all ways. & adapts it every time:-)

5. Thinking about another savings target/trip. &£s have taken several not modest thumps of late. On verra.

Good good morning Peeps,
£: Thank you for the link to The Bugle 😂
DD: we are also a fan of Mr W at Kings Cross. In the summertime, it is nice to sit outside on the bistro chairs, with your free Emporium Cappuccino, and watch the world go by. I have made a note of the Parcel Yard for when we go down to see King Tut.
Yesterday
1. Sausage butty for breakfast.
2. HM Lasagne for tea. Everyone ate it.
3. More things onto the Bay.
4. Slowly recovering from this nasty cold.
5. Watching TV and snoozing.
Blooming new Forum glitches! Just paused to look out the window, to contemplate 5 for yesterday, the iPad went to sleep and my post was lost ☹️Have a lovely day 🙂In a world where you can be anything, be kind. (Caroline Flack)

Cleared Mount Ironmore and the dirty linen basket.
Princess Pony enjoying a duvet day as the yard was having some power lines work done.
Found some Darling Buds of May on catch up and immersed myself in all things Larkin.
Easy tea of cold meat, cauli hash browns and beans.

Hi there
Just a heads up. My friend thought he had 20 pounds in Tesco vouchers. After checking on the site he actually has £100.50 still in date. It's worth checking.
Well Lainey have had the pleasure of learning about Connemara's and Irish draughts. What a great cross. One of my friends always sends me cards with an animal on the front. My birthday was in January and this year I received a horse which is almost the spitting image of your beloved. I wish I knew how to upload photos. Going to ask my SIL this week to teach me as we will be spending time together.
My Dad's not that well so closing down of shop is delayed. I think it's all a trick. He is 80 and this is the 2nd time I am closing down a shop for him............supposedly to retire.
In attempting to clear out fridge had a lovely meal last night. Half a steak each, salad and new potatoes. I used to love steaks but find that as I get older am eating less and less meat. Part of it is conscience because I do feel guilty that I am eating animals. My niece (9 years) cannot even physically swallow meat. No-one in the family has taught her this but she is the one that takes after my own heart regarding animals. She is a better woman than me.
Anyway, to one and all.............have a fab day.

Bala, I eat very little meat these days. No pork at all (but sometimes a little bacon) and I have resolved to not eat lamb having delighted in the newborns gamboling round the fields. if someone cooks it for me, I will eat it (even if that's OH) but don't choose to cook it for myself. this is mainly due to the environment (to try and offset my flying) and partly as I like the variety of veggie foods (Sorry Mhags, I know you struggled). I do eat fish though and I love steak.
I also don't think I should completely give up meat as when I did that before, my mental health suffered (probably for lack of vit B12) and I am afraid of that happening again.. Even if it was completely coincidental
I wanna be in the room where it happens10 -
Again your bites for BoPimess
No, this new forum is not letting BoP do his start line! Urrgh. Well at least the thanks button is here today! And it appears scrunched up on some browsers! Doesn’t scroll on the fon things! Softies. If it works, fix it!
Read some things in parish about pickling children. Well made me chortle when I red it!
PM 2 Ms Dog Walker. It is because the softies wanted to update the parish and no one can remember their name and email from eons ago! I manage to find a weigh inn to Blackbeards email! Otherwise it cound have become Pike the Kipper!
Black pudding casserole. No Black pud is for the pan with the best back! Sprouts! No, we is no part of Brussels now! BTW the yanks love them roasted as a starter. What. No & ifs yous put the pan on now they could be ready for chrimbo!
Snorker Banjos! Propper tasty food!
On that, Has I tells yous about the yellow dinosaur we used to follow as a kid. He dredged the beck! He died in about 1990, and the beck at Mum BoP’s plaice has now covered in reeds and the water is up to the levee! Nothing to do with change, except the fish no sticklebacks no longer swim? Oh the dinosaur. A JCB!
Now on with my version of your Life with BoP
Pork pie inn the lunch box again, with four proper digestives and too cheeses!
Last nite had crushed kedgeree! For dinner. Pollock, and I has seen one in Boston, with green has bins, peppers, finely chopped onions! Quiet nice!
That means that I has a egg ;left over this weak, so on Thursday I will be inn the hot pan tossing pancakes. Yes, BoP has pancakes on other days, they not be just for Shrove Tuesday! Propper foods and good for you!
Watched another flix of the river last nite. One for the money. Cocoa and crumpets were wolfed down. Proper cocoa, the Bourneville version whipped into milk with no sugars. Not the foamed drinks available elsewhere!
Just a note to watchers, BoP is at JAM this weakened.
That’s all from the corrected view of your version of the Life of BoP. Other version are not available. If yous bin affected by this post, tuff!
There, ignorance of not being kind to the one of you left does not mean the one on the right is correct!

I know Vj. I can go ages without meat and then all of a sudden feel an actual physical need for it. Lucky for me I love salad. Not so mad on veg and like Tiggy hate brussel sprouts but love cabbage.
Hardly ever eat pork, like you a little bacon sometimes but not often. Always had to have a roast dinner but rarely do now. Too many guilty feelings.
But a funny thing has happened. Never had a sweet tooth so when people talk about cakes and puddings half the time I don't have a clue. Always had starter and main meal in restaurants.
NOW.......it's biscuits, cakes and bread........which involves butter, something else I never used to eat. I expected to pay about 80p for a pack but nearly fell over a few months ago when I saw that it was almost 2 whole pounds !
Oh well...........stranger things have happened............ ;=)AKA : Bala La Boo & Bala Baloo
