Pleasures for yesterday
1. I started the marking - starting is the hardest part
2. OH's colonoscopy was clear - though the procedure itself seems to have taken it out of him, he's not right at all today. I'm used to him being a slightly annoying puppy and he's just so listless.
3. coffee with friends
4. yummy salmon for tea - accompanied by gin
5. got the washing in before it rained...
Try to have a good weekend, folks and stay safe.

Pleasures yesterday....
Looking at how bright and fresh my living room looks now the decorating is done.
Usual walk with dog, seeing her attempt to herd a Labrador who was only interested in his ball.
Pampering at the hairdressers, hair turned out looking great.
Lovely home made cheese scones brought round by a neighbour.
Late night cheese omelette and chips. Naughty, but just what I fancied.
And the main pleasure - performing in a concert in front of a good crowd. Sixteen songs, 7 of which I have had to learn in the past two weeks (lyrics, harmony part and dance moves). One of the songs, Footloose, was a last minute substitution, and I only started learning it five hours before the show started. Also our choir leader, when arranging us on the stage, ended up putting me in the front row. Challenge or what?
The thing is, I knew it was going to involve hard work, but I set my mind to it and did it. And loved every minute of it. Roll on the next concert! One life - your life - live it!15 -

DfV, it was a solid wallop & scrape. Definitely yellow tinged now. The other ‘pleasure’ to go with the small kitchen was the flabby upper arm 😂 - nowhere near as bad an injury as it could have been 👏
other pleasures
My takeaway curry will be 3 meals
Finished knitting scarf no.25 (for the homeless)
Emptied, cleaned & rearranged all my kitchen drawers - 3 shallow & 2 deep - few utensils into the CS bag.Not having to go out 👏
Nice chats with neighbours.

Enjoyed my day yesterday
1. Met a friend for coffee. Had a lovely catch up. It's good talking about not much for a couple of hours.
2. We shared a delicious piece of chocolate cake.
3. Went to rugby. The rugby was awful. It was terrible weather too. Good seeing others and we stayed dry in our seats.
4. Resisted temptation of a takeaway and enjoyed the sweet potato wedges I made.
5. Laughing with DS2 and his girlfriend.11
