Hugs to everyone that needs them.

    1. Met a friend and had a good catch uo. She gave me some useful advice about work. Also managed a muffin.

    2. Trains worked out ok.

    3. Went to rugby and though we lost again the match was surprisingly good. The Clermont fans were very vocal throughout the match.

    4. Had a takeaway with enough left over for someone today.

    5. DS1 had a night out with work.

    Congrats on the house DD
Look after your battery too Broomstick

    Saturday pleasures,

Bit of a lie-in, all was toasty under extra blanket.

Cold morning so the butter was a bit hard in the dish, usual trick of popping it on the radiator for a few minutes worked.

Finished Peril at End House, when I read Poirot now its in David Suchet’s voice.

Out to cathedral city and met my friend for tea and cake at the cafe in cathedral grounds, lovely catch up.

Drove straight to yard across the fens, beautiful at dusk and saw a barn owl for first time in ages.

Cuddles with equine girlie, she’s was snug as a bug in her stable.

Two more episodes of Wisting, my obsession with this Scandi drama continues.
  • Morning all. Thinking of everyone with troubles and sadness

Nothing much happening as still preparing for building work/kitchen/dining room job. Supposed to be starting tomorrow but more likely now Tuesday,!
Mostly now set up in the front room with supplies and induction hob. Microwave and slow cooker to move when they actually start!
Super strong son supposed to be popping in today to move the remaining heavy stuff out of the way.
Lovely beef casserole and mash for dinner last night with leftovers for when I can’t cook!
Nice to see the sun yesterday even though I didn’t get out in it except to hang the washing out.

    Super Sunday everyone.

    Good morning all, yesterday's pleasures....

Firstly the HT treated me to a lie-in. He's the first awake 99% of the time at weekends and the noise he makes walking round his room wakes me but he was very quiet for a change and I stayed asleep until almost 9am.

The HT has his fish. He has a male Siamese Fighting fish. They prefer to live alone so one fishy it is. HT is in love :rotfl: Totally fish obsessed.

Work was OK. Plenty of staff until the last half hour when the staff/customer ratio was wrong as most of the shift staff had gone home. Lots of customers wanting lots of things near to closing time but it was my home time too so I left them to it.

Easy tea - the HT wanted pizza and seeing as it's Saturday and Asd@ had a strange offer on when I went shopping (big pizza express pizza £3, small one £4), we shared a big pizza between us. We had a box of 10 tiny ice cream bites that I assume were Christmas leftovers at 38p (same shopping trip) between us for dessert.

Peaceful evening working on crochet project number one and listening to youtube.

  • Was at the JAM yesterday, with me stories of old and good yarn! Tea was drunked.

Just bin to the emporium w8rs/ Got the shop inn for the weak and just so Mum of VJ knows, salmon, that shall bee cooked proper for tea and not served for brekfest!

Had snorker fest late this weak, this morning! Usual best snorker, best back, mushrooms, toms and poached egg! Raffles is off his plate licking as I thinks he is not like the tom in tom sauce! He's gone all fussy!

Now about the salmon. Served with sun drench toms, fresh from the deep of freeze garden peas and tossed with parsley. Can not be bothered and it is wrong for parsley sauce. That is hows yous does the salmon. Got it? Then some pud of xmas with instant lumpy custard.

That is what it is like inn your version of the Life of BoP!

It takes skill to be BoP

Watching the cricket and the Southern Africans are fortunate it is rained!

Bet they wish it was still raining BoP!
  • HWK made it to the coffee shop in the village and back this morning, it took a while as he's still sore and walking pulls his wound but he made it!

Deciding NOT to buy a magazine when I went to the newsagents for his paper this morning.

Very nice cup of coffee and we were the only customers so lovely and quiet too.

Picture of the Frieda child in her high chair enjoying her very first taste of baby porridge this morning, happy smiles and generous spreadings of porridge over her happy little face and hands.....there's a rightness to that!

Rugby, rugby, rugby and more rugby on the TV including a Gloucester match woohoo!
