  • Haha Bala :rotfl: I'm not sure :rotfl: :rotfl:

I had a lovely curry last night out with friends and rubbish mood lifted.
Meetings went well at the paid stuff yesterday - everyone was helpful and supportive.
Journey's went well, minimal delays and I didn't get wet!
Cuddles with the cat - always lovely
DH in a good mood and gave me a lift to and from the station.
DD safe and sound and had nice little chat.
Bids received on two eBay items.
Feeling a lot more positive today and only one more day until the weekend.

    1. A good day at work. I worked at a satellite clinic which is always better.
    People were mostly happy.

    2. Saw photos of friends grandson wearing the hat she had knitted.

    3. Chat about weddings at lunchtime. Someone is recently engaged.

    4. Managed to make it to the post office before it closed to buy tickets for local panto.

    4. Reading my book.

    Good morning all, yesterday's pleasures.....

Day off so scope to do some jobs that have been waiting.

The HT walking to school to make my morning easier. I collected him though so he didn't have to walk both ways.

Took best friend to physio. No appointment next week, just one the week after - that makes all of our lives easier and it's good to see him getting better.

Sewed new buttons on HT's new to him suede jacket. Looked at the lining and thought "may as well" so chucked it in the washing machine on a short cool wash. It came out the same as it went in only wetter and cleaner so all good (it's nearly dry now).

HT went to play games with friends while I went to get weighed. We didn't stay out as long as usual but both came home happy and I had an early night.

    All ok BOP?

    Thursday pleasures,

Cleaned small dog’s teeth and flea treated her, the irony of then rewarding with a treat wasn’t lost on me.

Beautiful grey one is still on winter break so had lesson on riding school horse, no stirrup work on the lunge, bit achey today!

Got girlie in and gave her a good groom.

Late lunch then settled down to watch Midsomer Murders and woke up nearly an hour later, my sleep pattern isn’t the best and obviously needed a top up.

Tea then several games of Yahtzee.

Morning all - once again from the early train... got a while before I need to do this again though.

    Pleasures for yesterday

    1. Teaching session happened - not sure anything was taught, class was completely disengaged, despite my best efforts
2, Good walks to from stations
    3. DS was home when I got there and his exam had gone ok and the current source of his anxiety was not too troublesome. he was playing with his Brio trainset :rotfl: he is 20, not 5!
    4. curried cauliflower lattice for tea - yom
    5. Watched the David Tennant latest murder thing...

    Have a good day all
I wanna be in the room where it happens
  • Up early, house clean and tidy and spag bol simmering away on the hob since 8 for lunch.

DD1 and Frieda coming over on the bus and I shall meet them in the library.

HWK moving well all things considered and not as uncomfortable as I'd feared. Early days but he's doing OK!

Friend has offered a big bag of cuddlies from her loft for the new babies to chose some and the rest for the charity shop.

Hopefully a day tomorrow with no current commitments and I may, just may be able to get into town and do what needs doing.....life is a juggling act these days!

    BOP. I have 2!
They are great with mice but fall down sadly with the Rolands. They have tried to nest under the shed but after re-enforcing the base hopefully that is stopped. I am used to them in the fields but there was never any evidence of them near the garden before. I was advised to stop feeding the birds so have done that too. I need a stronger deterrent.
