  • There must be something in the air as I too slept through to 8 this morning.

    Nice coffee out this morning.

Good productive top up shop yesterday in B&M, followed by Farm Foods, followed by Lidl all most easily accomplished.

My gammy knee is feeling much less sore and I'm walking almost normally.....sadly my other ankle is sore now because I've been walking oddly!

Waiting for DD1 and James to bring the Frieda child over for a visit and a cup of tea, love seeing them on Sundays.
  • Craziness to all and a :heartpuls from Jenny.

Was inn emporiums this morning. Got pollocks and balls, meat balls. That will make that Swedish store look bad. See below. All shopping inn for bang on £35.

Had mes usual snorker brekfest yesterday. With mushrooms and toms, poached egg.

Just had meatballs chilli style in toms sauce, with styled onions, button mushrooms and sweetcorn. Rite proper and tasty.

Got some differing things for the lunch box this weak.

    Watching the Windies cricket.

    Bit short this day.

Bit surprised that I had too review this one!

  • 1 I planted some bulbs out in containers still a lot more to plant, still I can look forward to getting them planted next week.

2 How I didn’t cave to takeaway tonight I don’t know I just prepared tea, I cut open the pepper to find it mouldy on the inside, I’ve never encountered that. Then I opened the ham and it was most definitely off. Thankfully there was one last pepper, and a few spare cooked sausages so the budget this week is kept to.

3 The moon the past few days has been amazing.

4 A lot of this evening will be spent applying for roles, it will be a pleasure when one is landed!

5 Pleasantly surprised by James May in Japan series to the point it’s all watched now.

Odd times and a year older.

    1. 1st SoWot Soddit moment of &'s current age:-). Et oui and Yup, just bought self almost last ticket for ISIHAC, 1 Feb. Will go directly from rtn ferry, as & absents herself ftom yUKland every brex-s-hit day.

    2. What on Earth?....lit. and fig.
Raspberries in flower. All wrong, but they're doing it.

    3. Joined team bus yesterday for 1st and 2nd XV double-header - +double losses sadly - away, Chingford. Dirtier lot by far than their muddy sodden pitch.
2 of ours targeted off play for gbh+affray. Referee intimidated. Shirt colour matched character/cards he didn't dare use. Boasting comments post-match from opposing team re: 'x had ref sorted. He's easy.'
We have 3 more bad injuries. Previously, dirtiest match ever seen by & was down in Uzès, 30 years ago. Dirtiest deliberate player remains filthy Farrell, loathe him, witnessed at Twickenham, 'kneeling' and stamping on a Clermont-Ferrand player's forearm, breaking it, in a Heineken Cup match. Against that, beloved Toulon won nicely v Scarlets yesterday, 27-15. We're into a new era, sans Mourad Boudjellal who has done so much. Great to see &'s AB Savea crossed the try line. Pilou! Pilou!

    4. & is firmly into 'Eating From Freezer'(s) in 2020. Ludicrous for 1 &-sized non-obese person to have so much on hand.

    5. Have to finish Joanne Harris's 'The Lollipop Shoes'. Passed on from friend last week and exactly know now what she meant about it being not quite her....and yet...etc. So, will finish it tonight in order to know I have finished it, iykwim.

    Hello. Bedtime. Early start tomorrow.

Productive start to day. Grocery shop. Hoovered. Laundry. Cleaned downstairs loo.

Round to mothers. Sigh...cleaned . Hoovered. Dishes. Floors. Ironed. Popped into her neighbour to update. Son gave her car a run. Daughter did bits and pieces of tidying upstairs.

Home. Hello doggy. Let’s snooze in front of the fire. So we did.

Good evening all and Happy Birthday &

First thing for today is all ironing done. I'm old and boring these days and like to be able to wear clothes straight from my wardrobe without messing around having to iron things first.

Work was busy and steady. Just right.

Home in time to make a roast dinner.

Migraine started just as I started cooking. Those magical pink pills fixed it (mostly). I was struggling with words for a bit afterwards so I went to bed for an hour to sleep it off. (It's not a stroke honestly, it's just a really nasty type of migraine).

Sitting down to write what I want to achieve this year - wel some of it. Parts of it are still a work in progress but writing it down helps me to concentrate and plan better.

    Happy birthday, Ampersand!

    Pleasures for today (Sunday)

    1) A breakfast out in a caf! on the way to take bigger son back. As I dropped him off he said, "I probably won't come back again", which was a bit sad.

    2) Hens OK.

    3) Went to get my hair cut and eye brows threaded.

    4) Bigger son phoned and said they'd all welcomed him back, then they'd been to Shrewbury to go trampolining.

    5) Made HM nuggets for tea, with chips and beans.

    6) My brother popped round for board games.

    7) The gutter repair man has rebooked so is coming in the morning now. 8.30!

    8) In bed with 1 hwb and about to catch up with Casualty.

    9) Finished the first book of the year (reading) and more Duolingo.
