In the interests of still having pleasures I shall post mine for yesterday - DforV, please don't think this is in anyway to detract from my thoughts for you and yours and please, please vent away anything you may wish to
1. Hangover not too bad :T
2. nice lunch out with MiL - my New year's res to be meat free unless really difficult not to (such as being invited to friend's for dinner) went out the window at the first hurdle as I had a carvery. In hindsight I wished i'd had everything except the meat as it was the accompanying veggies that were the best thing
3. Good journey home
4. Dr Who
5. My bed...

Here are my pleasures for yesterday and, as Vjsmum said, not to detract DfV.
1) a lie in
2) drive to Hereford ok (takes an hour as the road surfaces are so poor!) Got talking to a chap in Costa who had noticed my footballing scarf.
3) Got to football and saw G who volunteers at the museum I will be working at this year and he gave me a hug!
4) football was ok; had a burger. Lost 2-1.
5) bigger son had cooked tea - homemade chips, salmon and peas.
6) had had the usual 5 trips to the toilet at football as smaller son won’t go in if there is anyone else in there. I’ve had many years of having to loiter outside men’s toilets, waiting for him, so finally ordered a radar key.0 -
