2. DS2 came home from his holiday in New York. He had a great time.
3. Went to Wisley glow. The lights were good and enjoyed seeing it all and it stayed dry, unlike last year.
4. Went to London for a walk round to see the lights.
5. DS1 is ok. His tyre burst as he was coming off the motorway at work. He stopped the car safely. He has a brand new tyre now.which he wasn't anticipating paying for before Christmas.0 -
Phew, busy lady DD
Fab pics BOP
Sunday pleasures,
A sinus headache plagued me all night so up early with cuppa & painkillers, pleasure of small dog cuddles. I also got a beef in beer casserole into the slow cooker.
Fell asleep again on the sofa and woke up just in time to listen to the Archers, beloved had prepped bacon butties and coffee, good man.
Went out to local nursery and found small but perfectly formed tree, gave it a good long drink and left outside whilst we ate a late lunch.
Tree decorated and the pleasure of long held treasures & twinkly lights.
Sunset walk, we had heard a dog fox barking during the night and small dog obviously picked up its scent around the old barn, had to be vigil for any poo rolling!0 -
Well I is back at the grindstone inn the mill.
I see there’s be talk about how to eat the jelly babes. Only one way to deal with them. Decapitation. Head first, bite their heads off! Got it. Minds BoP about the photo he took for his pass of port some thirty three years back. After the proper one inn the booth, the archer sign was used for the last one! Last weak inn Macy’s when BoP got a new jacket, same style of photo was taken. Their, attitude has remained the same.
Oh, and BoPsie put some flowers in the vase on the shelf a few years back and accused BoP of removing the flower heads! Was not until I took photo of a previous moggie, Monty, that she realised it was the cat that bit the heads off. That Monty had same attitude of BoP!
Right enuff nonsense, more on your version of the Life of BoP!
Stokes. Giveaway.
Put the bar bill on the card and the rate went from around $1.21 when we set off to $1.31 when it got paid! Better inn the pocket of BoP! Got it?
Lit fires and furnace inn the mill. Took time to get cold shovel off the wall this day! Who cares?
Last nights tea of Dog Burger was good. Was cooked with a sesame seeded toasted bun, proper burger, fried onions, and topped with proper cheddar. Rite tasty and better than the joint of greasy spoon Mac! Burgers of Dog weres on offers at the w8rs emporium.
Tonite BoP is ice inn the cake, it has had it Jim Beam treat, a glass and a half in every cake! Juts has to make the marmalade bourbon for the marzipan covering as well. Bee rite tasty. Please be aware that should you do your cake like BoP one should not drive or operate machinery after a slice!
BoPsie tonite is doing the tree. We use an artificial one as this save the forest from being unearthed. I understand there is some though of this inn the media of ogle. Guess what, BoP has done the same for years! Raffles will no doubt be ready for the baubles being thwacked!
Inn the lunch box this weak we has the sour grapes. Two cheese, Two Clubs, one orange and another fruit!, Two Proper Digestives and toms, cucumber, onions and pepper. And a slice of ham!
Millwright is inn, so I is havings me lunch. He can chew on his!
That is it for your BoP Lunch Bite today!
Don’t blame the media for todays Lunch Bite, I has not watched the BBC News purposely since 21:33Z 1982-05-03! It was a Monday!
Take from it what you need and leave the rest to those that care0 -
AWOL here too. Here goes-
1. D for V's post. Amazing.
2. Cats are well. Had to keep them in as spotted rats in the burn at the bottom of the garden. Been clear for 2 years. Long arguments with council and hopefully the program will clear them. Opening shed and doing any gardening is apparently very amusing to onlookers as I am so jumpy!
3. All presents bought and wrapped. Just food next week to buy.
4. Christmas tree is looking pretty. Childhood decorations. Co-ordinated not!
5. Work continues to be settled. So happy about that.0 -

Hello. Bedtime having been snoozing downstairs!
DD2 has had a rubbish day. So dealing with that. Son has just came home from snowy mountains. DD1 on phone to DD2 & was so loud it’s as if she were here and they were squabbling! Ssssshhhh I’m snoozing.
My day has been housework filled. Bathrooms, floors, hoovered & washed. Laundry. Sigh. Never blooming ending.
Back massage. A very sore back after gift wrapping for charity two days then work for three. Anyway ooh ah ouch at massage.
Quick home to feed dog. Then walked round to my mothers. Enjoyed looking at all the Christmas lights. Solved a internet banking problem and added something onto her first online shop.
DD2 joined us then we went to supermarket. Met friend and had a chat and a laugh.
Home. Quick dog walk then made dinner. Rice with a chunk of leftover gammon from freezer with veggies.
Ordered logs . Didn’t have stove on today.0 -

I lost my heart to a starship trooper - and the coil spring bit of my car's steering to a pothole in Ditton Priors... :-(
So nothing happening today. The garage man came out to have a look and said he would pick it up on his trailer but has not returned...
Pleasures for today:
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Bigger son can never remember time differences so some jolly texts from his this morning - at 6.30am!
3) Hens OK.
4) Tidied up a bit.
5) Made some orange curd.
6) My college friend popped by.
7) Roast gammon etc for tea then summer pudding made by my brother.
8) Have sat in bed watching tv all night, in the warm.0 -
Despite my back being sore not a bad day.
1. Help from someone at work. It was something small she did but it showed that she was aware of the pain i was in.
2. Not too busy at work so have me a chance to do some stretching exercises.
3. Collected a parcel from the garage in the village. It was very easy and friendly service as ever.
4. Home and lit candles including my advent candle.
5. DS2 cooked tea.0
