Dear nargle, just heard a Ping! - and bless you. Thank you so much. It is personally directed, deliberate, sustained since 2 August, as person on end of phone confirmed, but to what end, I know not. Yes, I did phone after posting here, apologised for feeling I was at a level of pettiness matching toxic's, but promised action, letter 19 August, has not occurred, which allows people of this ilk to up the ante.

Spits sorting, loading nearly done. Praying for car ok o/n, decent takings tmrw, safe return.

    Thankyou again nargle:-)

    Evening all

Ampersand, so sorry you are going through this...
    Hope Bopsie is OK

    Pleasures for yesterday

    1. Washing almost dry on line
    2. Saw my boy for a bit before he went back to uni
    3. OH cooked cheese and lentil loaf for tea
    4. Hmm, i'm struggling. All I do is cough and type, not always in that order... I guess I sleep ok, i'll have that.
    5. Banked.

    And for today

1.. Nice walk to station with OH for the early, though delayed, train
    2. A 2 coffee train.
    3. supervision was ok. Improvement continues but is not yet sufficient. I've had worse kickings.
    4. Walk back through beautiful regent's park
    5. A beef in ale casserole is in the oven:T

    Have a nice evening all
I wanna be in the room where it happens

Hello. Still stuffed from lunch out ( and maybe a packet of jelly babies) so no tea required tonight for me so will rake in the freezer for my boys tea.

Really struggling getting up last couple of days ( though have had interruptions with dog) and keep pressing snooze button.

Anyway work was worked. Out at midday. Nice walk home and quick shower and change.

Our guest had the grand tour of the allotment and I found another pumpkin growing which makes three. Quick chat with one of the other chaps there and a hello to his dog ( and don’t anyone tell Haggis we were down there without him)

Then we went and met DD2 and her friend and had a nice walk down our woodlands and a nice lunch. Sat outside in the sunshine. Then another walk back to car. It was a beautiful day.

Dropped visitor off at trains station...or almost so as traffic was static so she got out and walked down...and we were still stuck at lights when she went passed us again! Was lovely to have her visit even if it was such a short time. It’s always nice to have a bit of Melbourne ‘home’ here.

Home, fed dog and went for a lie down...so will I said the dog and squeezed me out the way .

& please keep posting here when you can and know that we have much love and encouragement for you.

Pirate Peteand much love and encouragement to Bopsie too from all of us. Keep us updated as and when you can ...Haggis sends a slobbery kiss.

Nargle I know it’s still such early days for you as a new to you normal is sought but I have been recently re-reading my OSP from just over two years ago when my life changed and it’s good to seek out simple things that give you joy. And your doggy and his ball reminded me when we always took a ball to our local ‘oval’ ( playing fields) in Melbourne. I miss it but have much to still be grateful for here.
  • BoPsie’s operation has bin successful. She is in recovery. All is well. Bloody hankie took a hammering. Have spoken to her. Cannot visit just yet. Raffles is a picture. More later.

BoPsie has colon cancer. It was found during routine bum test recently. They say it was successful and she will be with us again shortly.

BoP, wishing your Bopsie and you all the strength you need to deal with this. As one who has also been the recipient of the garden hose up the jacksie, I fully empathise, but colon cancer is one of the ones that's curable if caught early enough, and that's why we have these delightful procedures.

Get yourself a nice supper and an early night.
