Today's 5 are
1. Watching Ginger cat last night lying on the cool grass in the pouring rain. He has a cat flap.
2. Boss brought in raspberry magnums.
3. Difficult piece of work finished. Weight off shoulders.
4. Home made broccoli soup. Usually follow a recipe but this was off the cuff and is good.
5. Quiet night in. Catch up with the Blacklist.0 -
It's NOT raining! and it's not HOT!

Finding a beautiful floaty top in a charity shop in black with a floral pattern, beautiful enough to save for best for just £4, bargain!

Quick PM4&. Homeless. For two hundred years we’ve had too many old soldiers on the streets.
Linked from my Vets Breakfast. Don’t fill in yourself, but hand to charity contacts.

All. If you shave charity contact such as SSAFA, Soldiers off the Streets, or other, pass on to them.0 -
Just popping by for a catch-up...
Good to read all your posts, some happy, some not so, but lovely to come back when I have a moment and say hello to you all.
1. No clothes/shoes bought for 2 months. I'm getting withdrawal symptoms especially as my 60-pair shoe rack still has gaps for two more pairs! But need tighten my belt as I have a new (yes it's a 19-plate and no I don't have a mortgage BoP) car to run.
2. A wonderful week with DS, DDiL and 11 month old DGD in Lancs then down to Brum Hilton (if you have to go to Brum might as well stay somewhere decent) for a 3 day convention with 1500 like-minded folk. Very subsidised so excellent value.
3. Had my little garden hard landscaped so sold my lawn mower and other tools on a local site. Would have given them away but being sensible the mog and me can feed ourselves on the profits for the next couple of months or so.
4. Two more stents in right artery but difficulty finding meds compatible with copd ones, the NHS has been amazing as always and are trying so hard to help. They must be fed-up with my overnight stays, feels like I have a bed permanently reserved for me. God forbid we ever have to pay for treatment, I and many others would be in big trouble. Thank you NHS.
5. After 22 years I've left my cable provider and switched to freeview. It's saving me £51 a month, I should have done it a long time ago but I have that awful disease called procrastination
Take care, love to all x0 -
PM2BOP tomorrow. COYH
