  • Jules. Keep the Fiesta, you can see why he has no money!
Gosh dids the BoP rant yesterday. Well good news, the fitter inn the loom shop who has bin missing is inn today. Well it is pay day! I hope he has enough for August Bank Holiday as he will not be paid again until the Friday after!

Now on the way to the mill this morning we have had songs from Sham 69 and Toyah! Both contrasting and true. Get a clout around your ear? There, I fear some will be dusting off the old thirty three and a third now!

Raffles has upset BoPsie, this morning he was not inn for his feasts. But he was soon there when BoP called him in. Mind you his chunks are a bit like grit at the moment!

Talking of food, BoP’s Lunch box is again full of goodness with two cheese today. And four proper chocolate digestives as well. Wholewheat! Proper good. Far better than egg custard tart with streaky bacon! I said enuff about left over whine last night! With BoPsie there is no left over whine! Same as out Raffles, there is no seconds in his bowls! Oh, Raffles. We pay his veterinary charges!

Watched the car comics drinking coffee last night as the cricket was a washout. Decent cheese and wobbleades were consumed. BoPsie did not leave any whine!

Rite that bee yous lot for BoP today. I’m going out ant eh?

If the glass is too big and you have only half filled it, get a smaller glass.
  • Just had home made quiche, home made potato salad, home made cucumber pickles and home grown tomatoes for lunch.....and most tasty it was too!

A good and productive morning in the charity shop and some really lovely people coming in to browse so much banter and much laughter all round, it was fun.

The cup of tea HWK had ready for me when I got in, lifesaver!

Cooler weather but not raining, much more comfortable to work in than the heat of last week.

Nothing planned for afternoon so I can potter or not, read my book or not, have tea and cake or not or really anything that presents itself as a desirable occupation.....fantastic!

Evening all from the train home.

    Pleasures for yesterday

    1. did the shopping again and tidied up again
    2. friend came for lunch - former colleague really but we get on well and was nice to see her.
    3. made cheese and lentil loaf that looked a bit of an abomination but was tasty. There's loads left as I cooked a double portion and DD wasn't well so didn't have any
    4. Got on with work through the rain. As i'm not out much anyway I didn't really mind the rain
    5. OH got back from Yorkshire when the town they'd been in got completely cut off just after they left.

    Have a good evening all
I wanna be in the room where it happens

    Hello Peeps,

    Tuesday

    1. Another Tuesday, another trip to London! DS1 gave us tickets to Buckingham Palace for Christmas 18 months ago. We went last July, and converted our tickets to an annual pass. Just sneeked in with a second visit to the State rooms, before it ran out. I didn't bother with the audio tour this time.....just wandered around looking at all the gilding :D

    2. Walked up Regents Street and had a wander around Liberty's.

    3. Tea in the cafe at the end of our Palace tour was nice......Same price as anywhere else.......Did not bother with the £6 scone though.

    4. Blown towards Westminster by the stormy weather. Stopped into Westminster Cathedral. We have not visited before. A hidden gem.

    5. Pizza Express before the train home. Cheap cheese on toast BoP......Polo ad Astra with O2.

    Wednesday

    1. Walked Doggie to Lidl for croissants for breakfast. No bakery as technical problems. Had to make do with farmhouse bread. Nice walk though.

    2. Another trip to the dump with garden rubbish.

    3. Quick visit to town for birthday cards for DS1 and free Caffè Nero coffee with O2.

    4. Lunch of left over chicken made into chicken and avocado sandwiches.

    5. Shopping in the Orange supermarket and the Green supermarket with coupons and cashback apps. Saved £10. :D

    Have a lovely evening :)

1 Up early as the kitchen was finalised and paid for by 8am
2 Home and tasks loading the van, running prescription errands.
3 Took our old lady back to the vet, she’s been given some steroids to keep her comfortable.
4 Lunch was leftover pizza, but I cooked up proper food for tea and stock, 4 homemade lasagne’s, and also made some cupcakes.
5 Numerous animal and our washing loads done.

Pleasures today - brief periods of sunshine amongst the torrential rain.

Dog's sheer delight at finding a discarded football in the park.

Clearing out obsolete instruction booklets from the filing cabinet, just one more step in simplifying my life.

Managing to get to the gym for an exercise session.

Something different for dinner - jacket potato with cheese served with a halloumi, bacon, avocado and rocket salad drizzled with a little sweet chilli sauce, lovely!
One life - your life - live it!

    Hello. Bedtime. Hurrah!

Work 9-12.40pm very busy. Very grumped that the young pup working deciding to give me my share of tips at 11.30 ...I work at least till 12 and today did beyond. I didn't say anything just was very annoyed! Felt it too petty when we were so busy but shall maybe pass comment tomorrow.

Have emailed our Prof in Melbourne to say we are donating $1500 to his research for head and neck cancer. ( of which some was my tips from this month hence annoyance)

We had a storm. Wow! I hate thunder and lightning but thankful to be inside.

Did a big shop for our local food bank and met a customer whilst doing it and she gave me £10 to buy some more . We had a lot of flooding in our town ( opposite end of town ) on Sunday and food bank which had already low stocks are trying to support those who've been affected. Messaged them to let them know we'd filled their bin! So they will do an extra pick up tomorrow.

Had mince and potatoes for tea. With peas and potatoes from the allotment, what a nice feeling to eat your own produce.

    Lovely chat with friend.

Visitors away ! Hurrah! Nice to see them but thank goodness for getting back to normal and not worrying about meeting people in the hallway in my underwear! ...if I wanted to wander around half naked !

Their bedding and seemingly hundreds of towels can wait till the sunshine is back!

I got as far as taking my library book upstairs to read ...but not as far as opening it!

    Night x

    Wednesday pleasures,

    Bacon and tomatoes for breakfast.

A tiny wren going about it’s busy business in the bottom of the hedge, my favourite bird and rarely seen in our garden.

Was going to visit horsey town CS’s to restock book supplies but felt a bit blurgh so shopped from my shelves and am re-reading a Kate Morton.

Had a quick nap in the afternoon and woke up feeling better.

Chat with a pal and arrangements made to meet up.
  • Oh lawd, more egg custard tart with streaky bacon! Not proper food no matter how you describe it!

Well it is the thirst of the month! Out day one. No rule of BoP, the council can wait for their rates thank you! Days of old when BoP was at home and the corporation bus would put up the summons notice of Jan 1st. Mum BoP would get the cash out of the bank and BoP would join queue, and there was a big one, to pay on 31st December. Everyone else did! Now these thieves want it by DD. Avoid. It only pays for social workers and educationalists! Had to get that inn!

Watched the lady’s cricket. Now for the real stuff. Bring it on! And they’re walking!!!

Watched more comics drinking coffee in the flex nit thing.

Got me shirt ready for SatDay. Roll. Will be listening and building me models again. BoPsie will be inn with Jeff! She will be ironing and listening. PM2DD #UTM #UTH

Inn the packed lunch box is two cheese, three cakes of Jaffa and a fredo! There, BoP lives the life here at the mill! Bet you wish now you had a frog inn your lunch box and not one in your throat!

Rite that is all for your daily tripe and carp about the Life of BoP in your lives!

Stand tall, be proud and shout it loud.
