Oh it's just 9.30 and feels all dark and dismal. ( that'll be the pouring rain)
Up early. Washings on and out. Hoovered floors and washed them before heading out to hospital at 8am. Was kindly allowed in to be with DD2 out with visiting. Consultant came round and she was discharged with a letter to be sent to her other consultant in big city hospital .
Home about lunch time.
Dozed. Both of us.
Had Chinese takeway for tea.
Boy child home safely and away out with doggy just now so that'll be a wet dog smell then!
Kindness of friends and messages.
Bought a beautiful bunch of RTC sunflowers.
Having another day off work tomorrow.0 -
Today's pleasures....
Warm sunshine when I took dog for walk, and a chat with a friend in the park.
Clean cotton bedlinen on the bed. Cotton bedlinen is the best.
A miniature bar of Green and Black's chocolate this evening.
The scent and feel of organic lavender soap in the shower.
Resting in bed after a busy day of clearing out stuff, cat stretched out right next to me, dog lurking under the bed, son in his room. One life - your life - live it!0 -

I did hear DID this morning, Ampersand, due to the sheer quantity of ironing I had to do. More on that later...
Glad all went OK, MHags.
Pleasures for today (Sunday).
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) The anti clothes moth crusade continues. All the washed and dried clothes were ironed this morning. The clothes in the freezer get turned over occasionally. The wardrobe was hovered then wiped out. They no longer like the wardrobe so we have come across moths all over my room, the landing and 2 downstairs!
3) Hens OK.
4) Stuck to the BSD. Yoghurt and berries for lunch, courgette omelette for lunch, veg chilli for tea.
5) Exciting news in that smaller son and his friend might be going into Birmingham - on a train, by themselves (!) I've also found a gaming convention thing at the NEC in August that he sounds quite interested in.
Not much else to report from here. A quiet day.0 -
Glad to hear that DD is out of hospital Mhags
Sunday pleasures,
Up early and out to the yard as physio was treating the beautiful grey one, no issues but prevention better than cure etc.
Girlie can be nervous around unfamiliar men but took an instant liking to physio and was soon putty in his hands. No real issues just a few tweaks needed but he was impressed at her leg stretches and delighted to hear that I do them whenever I exercise her, said he wished more owners were as conscientious ( polishes gold star)
Home to a very late breakfast and lovely Capt S had downloaded Hurchers omnibus for me.
Quiet day at home, reading and generally lolling around.
Evening walk around the fields with small dog, the crop must be close to being harvested, the days march away.0
