I sees wevs hads a right stew round here. Proper food and good for you!
Was at JAM yesterday and we had a steady stream of visitors again, as well as a Korean film crew talking about Korean Veterans. So ifs yous out the way in Seoul or elsewhere, you could see a glimpse of BoP on the box! Picture perfect! Next appearance at JAM will be released soon!
Had snorker fest for BrekFest yesterday, with best back, gilled toms and mushrooms, topped with poached egg! Rite nice and proper foods.
On abouts foods, at the mill, we seem to have a miller who does not understand what proper food is! In the fridge, not used by BoP, a deposit of Cottage Cheese is inn there. That is a non food at its worst! Not cheese, and not milk, but some unglorified mess between the two! Avoid. Best not served!
Now as you knows, that inn BoPs packed box of lunch this weak, we has the usuals. Toms, Radishes and cucumber, with some cheese. Strawbs and two satsumas. One proper digestive and two special cakes of Jaffa, theys weres on offers at the emporiums the other weak! Best time to get these nice things.
On the flix of net thingy, wes has started to cars being driven by comedians again! Well worth not paying the TV Tax for. BoPsie is a bit too giggly at it though!
Now that is about yous lot from BoP today!

Pleasures today....
Stroll down to the gym and gentle exercise session before it got too hot.
Walk in the park with dog, having fun playing fetch the ball.
Managed to get car booked in for air con service on Thursday morning, so I can have breakfast out at the cafe while I wait.
Bought a cotoneaster, a rosemary plant and two lavender plants. Potted them on in the warm sunshine.
Enjoyed a mini Magnum whilst reclining in the coolness of my bedroom.
Son out tonight so no need to cook. Made myself a fresh strawberry and banana smoothie instead.
Watching Marie Kondo on Netflix. People in California seem to have far more cluttered homes than we have here.
A lemon and ginger toddy with honey and a dash of brandy.
Tomorrow will mostly be a day of idleness because it will be too darn hot to do much. Must cultivate my inner sloth. One life - your life - live it!0 -
1 I’m at the end of a 2 day flare and it’s annoying I admit, turning it into a pleasure thou, I didn’t rush up, a pleasure to be able.
2 Leftovers heated up for lunch and then heat of the oven used for putting in a roast joint.
3 Took our old boy to the vets this time, he needed another implant, many spondoolies but very worth it, his cage mates mobbed us when we bought him back, that is love.
4 Watching the baby wrens in the garden.
5 I still haven’t mowed I’m doing my bit for the wildlife…0 -
Hello. I'm so blooming warm and it's not even hot here yet! Bedroom windows open and some cool air coming in.
Busy day. Had the day off work. DD2 up and about but still very sore.
Stripped bed. Was still rainy at this point and so, so windy.
Friend from Melbourne called me when I'd messaged her to say I was home this morning, work and time differences usually get in the way.
Had to pop round to my mothers. Sorted out her utility switch. Hoovered and washed floors. Brought a big bunch of bright blue hydrangea home .m
Sun came out. The niecelys came and we made scones and had a very nice afternoon tea. GN very proud of herself. Pouring cups of tea and mostly made the scones ( with a little help.) homemade jam enjoyed and a jar given away with them.
Her and I walked Haggis down to meet her daddy on his way home from work.
Dinner was RTC gammon joint, roast potatoes(RTC) beetroot( home grown) and pumpkin. And broccoli.
Went to the allotment . I was so tired and really could just have snoozed ( but having snoozed yesterday afternoon I didn't sleep well last night) but the dog and I went down for an hour. Chatted with a couple I've not seen for a while and then just me. Did a bit of weeding and a bit of harvesting.
56 potatoes ! From half a dozen leftover spuds that were all 'eyes' . Picked 3 courgettes but there will be loads. A couple of beetroot and a bunch of herbs and wild flowers and sweet peas. And a handful of peas that son ate when I got in. Gave pumpkins a good soaking with buckets full of rain water! Soil is well soaked anyway but to be hot tomorrow.
Haggis had a lovely time as usual and was in and out the pond.
Clean bedding tonight. My new to me bargain bedding! £2.50 .
Back to work tomorrow.0 -
Well, it's desktop tonight, rubber bands all cranked to pinging.
Replaced all Thanks, as usual. Old hands have seen me say so before. The Uselessness of Fennylands Connectivity, Part MCMXL. etcetera.
1. Bastille Day feux d'artiffice on Champ de Mars, Lille and all the time spent in &'s sacred hexagone, as always. Walked 12kms that night. Quite a trek for this vieille dame. The 2 very difficult funerals, consecutive days, same place, one straight from Dover....over, but aftermath lingers. Not good. Attended all 3 benefice services yesterday. Good chat from supervic helped.
2. Usual volunteering Monday, but 7 short, Mrs LW :-) Our charity is not necessarily a comfy one, but is strongly supported in Town of Horse and more widely known, fortunately. Lainey is probably aware. & involvement can be behind bars.
3. & loves heat, loves sun, loves light. Happy days. But,

4. Silver Ferns did their stuff! :-)
ABs [lots of triallists] scraped a 20-16 modest pass over fiercely competent, established Pumas unit. A couple of Alma friends are heading to Japan, departing 16 Aug., back in UK for final. They are doing a marvellous trtip, incorporating lots of cycling and matches up to semi's. Both also rode Town of Gown to London yesterday, CRUK fundraiser:-)
5. Chq arrived in post, another LP raffle 2nd prize, total surprise to &:-) Always useful, but best of all would be permanently extended allotment time for so-called 'leader'. Despicable, manipulated, intellect-lite, no poilitical nous, unfit for governance....shush &:-). just because knowledge goies back many, many years....
A much better 5. Glorious Kettle's Yard talk+Exhibition with accomplished studio potter, a good Scot:-), Jennifer Lee. Fabulous. Reminded & somewhat of Lotte Glob's work, especially the good fortune of acquiring a mass of it, unwanted/unrated in a.n.other place. Spits buyers, a Chelsea shopfront, took the lot.

Just realise her father and &'s Great-Uncle Axel will certainly have known each other via academic specialism.
Bonne nuit à tout et à tous.

Pleasures for today (Monday).
1) Almost no sleep but did have FB messages with bigger son at 3 in the morning! He taught his holiday club juggling today, making balls from balloons filled with rice. Another age group looked through the window and want him to run it again for them.
2) Have lost 9lbs over the last week. The first week of the BSD is always impressive.
3) Hens OK and I weeded the green house and watered everything. Picked my first courgette of the year.
4) The list of classes has been printed for the village show so I've been looking to see which ones we will enter.
5) More washing. Fewer moths now, surely.
6) Have been watching television this evening - Nadiya's cookery programme, Uni Challenge then Who do You Think You Are?0 -
Congrats on impressive weigh loss Frith
Monday pleasures,
Made bread dough early and went food shopping whilst it was proving, some good rtc bargains for a monday morning.
Already hot but had bread to bake, took opportunity of oven being on to roast peppers, phew.
Clothes drying on the washing line in just a couple of hours.
A nap on the sofa after lunch.
Clean, crisp sheets on the bed.0 -
Nows bees careful out there, the interfacescam net is fool of ideas today of keeping cool. Use rule of thumb from BoP. Do note, get the speedos on and be done with it. By the weigh inn the boiler room it is a tad warm! Well done to Raffles.
Ons abouts that interfacenetscammer thing, I must say that them free radical electrons can only get into your body if you walk through the woods in bare feet! That weigh yous body will be cleansed of bad electrons and you will feel a lot more betters for it. Pleas be aware that BoP cannot give advice ifs yous gets stung by nettles for walking bare foot in the forest!
Obviously your body does not has these free radical electrons at the moment? Oh, and them at the skool who thinks theys knows about these electrons things and talk about holes, give them short thrift as well!
On that scamface thing as well this morning, please look into your wheel arches of your car for young waifs and strays that may be hiding there. I know years ago we used them to climb chimneys, but a new market for using these little ones has suddenly sprung up!
Now ons about the happenings in yours versions of the Life of BoP!
Lunch box today has three cakes of Jaffe, with two cheese choice, apple of smoked wood and some mature farmed keen cheddar things. Others are the usuals. Aints nice thems cake sof Jaffa.
Watched more of the car comedians last night, tonight is the T20 again. That is after BoP again keeps his beach ready body inn the gym!
Nows on FryDay morning BoP again gives his blood for testing. That weigh BoP gives back to science what is good for you! Usuals rules. It will hurt the quack more than it hurts me! Test include to make sure that because of the proper foods that BoP tells yous lots about on here that BoP can control his sugars and things! That ways ifs yous eat like BoP you end up living like BoP!
Nows on about testing, BoP is at the audiologist inn August to make sure his lug horns are still working and the like. With BoP’s lug horns he can hear pins drop! Please ifs yous offered lug horns that go into your lugs, tell the quack to multiply and leave via a steal town near the Theatre of Fish. These inn lug horns just get full of wax and yous has to send you horn off to be cleaned. Avoid! Also the man who sells goggles is not a lug specialist!
Then because of this on SatDay BoP will be dropping BoPsie off at her salt mine to get some pennies inn, he wills be munching his Veterans Breakfast down the scran centre. Snorkers await the BoP! Proper food!
If yous has bin affected by BoP’s life’s adventures, please be aware theres more to come!
If you say something is going to be good, it will be good?0 -
