1. Feeling tired as not sleeping well but worked with a nice collegue. It was my last Tuesday at the site i have to drive too. I am still going there in Mondays.
2. Enjoyed seeing how proud a small boy was by climbing into a chair by himself.
3. Tea included potatoes, onions, beans and cobnuts from the garden. DS2 is happy with the onions I grew this year. They are larger than last years.
4. Watching the chucking the garden when I came in, drinking a coffee and relaxing.
5. Watched Holby and Bake off.0 -
Wow, I woke up in a bad mood today as someone annoyed me a lot yesterday.
I'm trying to relax now. 5 pleasures today so far...
1. I had an excellent lot of vouchers for the Ocado delivery I booked just now, £32 off!:money:
2. I just made a perfect cup of tea for myself, perfect temperature and sweetness.
3. My husband went back to work today so the house is nice and peaceful.:p
4. I'm going to make a delicious pesto pasta dish for dinner tonight.
5. My hairdresser is coming over later in the week instead of today so that is good as it means I don't have to tidy up.:rotfl:0 -
& your Scandinavian adventures sound amazing, our dear Henry is doing a one man tour next year, he is at the Apex in May.
Tuesday pleasures,
Capt S at the cricket so house to myself
The sun came out and washing dried on the line.
Pilates class, last week was obviously a gentle reintroduction as this class was much harder, I ache a lot today!
Mouse in car is obviously back as evidenced by chewed up sponge, need a humane trap.
GBBO, Noel had me in fits of laughter even if all that spun sugar set my teeth on edge.0 -
My normal equilibrium was shattered this afternoon at my frustration of an eldest child's laid back attitude . Nobody seems to be sharing my sense of urgency about getting things done. So I had a slight meltdown, had a screech at my poor husband and then had to apologise to him as he couldn't help leaving me with all the stuff in the bloody garage. All I'm asking is for my children to get a wriggle on with sorting out their stuff. We need to get rid of desks and a wardrobe so they need to be emptied/ cleared and whilst I appreciate they are at work /Uni / school...I too am at work getting up each morning at 5am , working, doing all the day to day stuff as well as all the extra stuff that needs doing before we move! It would be nice to head off to the mountains every weekend I'm sure! Rant over.
Work...was quite leisurely , moo he'd through some magazines and chatted with customers. Much better than a Tuesday .
Nice email from friend.
Glad I bought petrol yesterday when it was $1.16 /l , it's $1.45 today.
Enjoying my 2 bunches of carnations and greenery that I bought RTC for $1.80 a bunch yesterday .
Washed the most ghastly net curtains which I will need to put back up on Windows prior to moving out, I detest nets, these have a horrid plasticky coated texture , double yuk! They've been in the garage for 6 years.
It's been a beautiful sunny day. Such a lovely smell of Spring in the air and lots of lovely flowers and trees in bloom with blossom.
DD1 donated blood today, she has a history of passing out near needles but she didn't. I can't donate as I lived in the UK prior to 1995 . She's 1996.
Making chicken pie, roast potatoes ( which were RTC weeks and weeks ago and needed used up) and RTC parsnips . Should be ready in half an hour.
My wee dog! He knew his mum needed a cuddle this afternoon ....or maybe it was my high pitched screaming sending him subliminal messages!
Have a good day ....I need to go and make my 'bed' have to keep up standards...flat sheet and pillow case washed today0 -

4 After that I managed to get to the mill again this morning and I see my hiring manager is throughing people for interrogation as they wish to go to the grain store. I thought he was going to get into email SHOUT but just increased the font. Impressive and diplomatic or what! Good to see rules of BoP being applied.
3 At elevenses this week, as the cakes of Jaffa were expensive the last week, the nuts of ginger stem shortbread has worked wander. Proper food, just like last night’s chicken roulette! As BoP sie was a tad late as she put new tyres on the vehicle of BoP, it was rather top hot!
2 Nite, as on other nights as the light dies earlier, BoP will be piste ready down the gym. Viewing glasses are available from Mila.
You don’t want to hold up on that!

DD - interior decor sounds lovely. Wish there were pictures.
1. 2nd day of 1st aid course. Really good, but worried about today's test!
2. Nice lunch of salad and salmon infusions.
3. Stopped at Mr A on the way home. Lady in front of me got over £30 off her shopping using coupons. Stewards inquiry involved 4 members of staff! 'Can she use this many coupons?'. She stood her ground and even showed them the terms and conditions on her phone! Success! I was very proud of her! She also gave me a hint on using one of my coupons. :T
4. Easy fish and chips from the freezer. Everyone ate it.
5. Sewed a bit more of my bed spread, sitting by a real fire and watching W1A
Wish me luck with the first aid certificate!0
