    evening!

    Slept through till 6.30am .
On a course this morning which was very interesting.

Popped into town afterwards a couple of things from M and S then back up to carpark supermarket. Got a few things in the RTC section. Met an old work colleague so had a chat with her.

Hap picked up poo bags . Local council give them for free and she gave me 2 big packs. So took one down to friend/neighbour and we sat in her sunny back room and had a blether for about an hour which was nice. Haggis was nice to his old lady friend ( he should of course always be but isn't always!)

Home. Hoovered. Put shopping away. Read a postcard DD1 had sent me.
    Watered my turf.

The niecelys turned up. I wasn't particularly expecting them as nothing had been planned and we are all lurgified. Luckily they weren't expecting dinner...there was none! GN watered the turf again for me!

Now feeling rather tired so jammies on and won't be long till I'm in bed.

    Pleasures for today (Thursday).

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Dropped bigger son off at Go Ape and followed one of the proper trails in the forest - and smaller son came too, which was unexpected.

    3) Hens OK.

    4) Cheese and pickle sandwich for lunch.

    5) Went geocaching with my brother after lunch. Walked miles but only found 2.

    6) Bigger son's medical and DBS checks came back OK...

    7) Then he had an email - he is going for 3 months to Nepal!

    8) Brother came up for board games.

    9) In bed with 2 hot water bottles and will listen to the radio for a while.
  • 1 I couldn’t face sugar soaping the ceiling today, replaced instead by mooching in the garden with the animals, soaking in the spring weather, noting we have a tip run load but didn’t do it! I potted up a plant and cleaned up the garden chairs, left them in the sun to dry off.

2 An early tea of spaghetti and meatballs:o:rotfl::o with cheese as DH is on training tonight.

3 I am looking forward to having a slice of French toast, it’s a weird thing to say but DH doesn’t like it, and I have been wanting a slice for ages, sadly it was as I remember but I'm not so keen on it anymore, we don't really eat "normal" sliced bread anymore.

4 We’ve been invited to a lovely wedding, a long distance away, trying to work out what to do for the best, take the animals to stay with friends for a few nights is possible, camp up there take animals with and can stay for a week for the same price as the holiday inn is the frugal option, what to do can’t decide.

5 Lounging reading, with animals going loopy.

Wow Frith what a great opportunity for your eldest!

    Thursday pleasures,

Bacon with toasted English muffins for breakfast.

Drove into uni city as had some chores to do, all done and treated myself with my Boots advantage points :money:

Saw a buzzard sitting in a field, so rarely see these birds on land.

The crocuses are up in the pots, lovely deep purple colour.

Bit of pole work with my girlie, she was good girl and it was lovely to not have to wear a coat to ride in.

Amazing Frith - what will he be doing?

    Pleasures for yesterday

    1. yoga - haven't been for a couple of weeks, so it was hard
    2. Nice drive in the sunshine to and from yoga - thursady's session is held in a small village in the countryside.
    3. Veggie burger for lunch. Was more nom than I expected and DH cooked salmon for tea
    4. DS taking responsibility for his own mistake that lead to him paying for something when he no longer needed to.
    5. plum blossom on the trees...

Another train ride back to ICT - I am marking, hence procrastinating.
I wanna be in the room where it happens
  • Oh look & has flown down south again

Now was BoP on a rant yestday? Well man who cannot afford petrol is not in the mill again! So again, I wander! Yet today, it seems we are able to accept that most freshers have some issues. Are we sending them to school for too long?

VII Seven years since BoP had his cardiac arrest. And I is heres to tells yous all about it!

4 Not Jenny’s birthday just yet!

3 There, and last night the gooners won, so that is good news for BoP.

2 Night BoP could be out inn town on the Big Warster Train. Then is out for the Vets Breakfast.

    Not having one today!

    When you look you see.

I think if I still had a bath I'd go for a long soak but I don't so a long shower will suffice!

A day of energy. Up early. Stunning sunrise. First load of washing out at 6.15am. It was dry and windy. I ended up with four loads. First two totally dry and last two a bit damp and heating on for a bit to finish them off. My towels smell divine!

I have humphed and lifted and carried and moved and pushed and pulled. Bricks, roof tiles and many plant pots. Been out in garden for quite a bit. It's been mild and dry. Have planted Rosemary, lavender, olive, blackberry, agapanthus that I already had in pots. First raised bed looks so much better already just having plants in it. Moved my big (heavy) pots from Australia back in place outside my patio doors . They weigh a blooming tonne.

Lovely doggy walk....whilst the energy was still there! Up they country road , past the diggers...Haggis had a bark then a pat from the guys that are working there.

We had takeaway for tea and very nice it was too.

Daylight till gone 6pm . Fabulous!
  • 1 Spent a lot of time travelling, picked up a bay purchase, from a lovely chap, who might keep in contact who knows.
2 Put the world to rights in the car sitting in traffic, a lot of traffic.
3 Had a take away for a very late meal just now, used a voucher:o
4 We took 2 animals with us and the rest were very happy to see us when we got in, all snoozing behind the sofa now.:rotfl:
5 Currently watching a Sean Connery movie, feeling content.
