oof highdays
1) took doggie on the bus, this time to where the bridge goes over the railway to MrT, to drop soft plastic off
2) then we walked home via the river. left his snoring then
3) #72 to the garden centre for my free coffee and to buy the pansies mum wanted - well done me for not leaving till Sunday (she's back Monday) - and discovered the X7 is much quicker but stops at the bus station. switched to #16 and home to still snoring doggie
4) also worked out the #17 for MrL so a good day for me and my bus pass
5) walked down to Mennies for a rather disappointing Liverpool game. Trailing 2-0 well into the 2nd half, lucky to get the point bopMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

For the last couple of days,
Early morning cobwebs shining from between the fennel seed heads.
Quite a lot of autumn sunshine so washing dried on the line and tomatoes are still going strong.
A visit to cathedral city, had a look around the charity shops where I found a couple of books.
Hearing the dawn chorus again as the birds return to the garden, bird feeders stocked up and the apple tree losing its leaves has revealed an old nest.
Field fares on the telegraph lines.
Message for Amps, our beloved Arthur Rank hospice has had over 800k of funding cut so we are all signing the petition and writing to MP’s, please share amongst friends!

Yesterday was an early start, 70 mins travel to the in laws, and straight out, and over to St Margaret's Bay, a walk, a ponder, a cuppa and bacon sarnie and then ashes done. Over and across to Samphire hoe, via the Emmaus charity shop, what a gem and just how they should be. Another cuppa and over for a walk and some bird watching at samphire hoe. After a few hours ponder, back to the car and this time for fish and chips, which was okay to try once, but we won’t be going back to that particular restaurant. Then we travelled across country back to Mum in-laws, had a cuppa and then another longish journey home, but it was a lovely day.
For today
A few loads out and now in as the weather’s due in.
I cooked up a Choco chip small cake as I couldn’t find good cake yesterday, a slice was rather tasty.
Made proper food for dinner, turmeric rice with salad run through it, with salad and chicken in build your own dinner.
Cleaned out the ferret bedding.

5) then to mennies with another widower - we've had a rubbish year! might have mentioned to DrM i was in the pub and he might have appeared lolsMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

One day DD we are going to read of an advancement with Dr M!
Anyway I forgot to post Thursday pleasures.
The weather was certainly not very pleasant but it was not as bad as today is supposed to be…currently the calm before the storm.
I had the first of three services yesterday morning.Home and chatted to sister.Logs were dropped off and are kindly wheeled into the garage ! Log basket filled up!Did a bit of watching something and then prepped for today’s service.
Pup had been dropped off so that DD2 could come here and have her tea rather than having to go home to get him first. So we sat and had a blether and she took big tub of soup home.Had intended watching all creatures but never even saw the start zzzzz
Have had an industrious hour as I wait to go to work…always have a burst of probably nervous energy and it’s an early service this morning so I will be in rush hour traffic. Bah! I just like to know I am there!8 -
For yesterday,
Quick trip into horsey town, dropped a bag at the CS and did a quick food shop.
Drove over to Anglesey Abbey to meet up with my friend, we had a look around the house and very much enjoyed the current tailoring exhibition, we also walked around the gardens and sat outside to enjoy our lunch. It was pleasantly warm in the sunshine even if the leaves were falling around us.
My lovely friend, she deserves a mention to herself!
Home, quick change and over to see my equine girlie, fetched her in and settled her for the evening.
Letting C dog out for the last time and the owl was calling from one of the beech trees.
