2 years today since &'s leiomyosarcoma surgery and all subsequent ongoing checks, as yesterday.
Thankyou always to Michael Parry, surgeon:

2. Extra. Doblo mileage pic.🙂
3. Happy+naughty Food Warehouse rtc finds as thankyou's to someone tomorrow.
4. Ditto, from emporium. 2 bouteilles from &'s Hawkes Bay province in Aotearoa, again as thankyou's for &'s Bank tomorrow. Very, very sadly, NatWest in Town of Horse is closing.🤬 Lengthier drive+park and ride will be necessary henceforth into Town of Gown, then more trekking.
5. Found wonderful pale roses outside gate last night, shared from elderly friend, whose 87th birthday had meant 87 roses from a son who shares &'s father's first 2 names, Thomas Hugh....if that makes sense to any of you.🤞Son also approved of the sharing, so all is good.💐💮

Applied for another role, a pleasure to keep plundering on.
I challenged myself to de clutter a bit more, but obviously wasn’t in the mood, I did manage a complete bag of rubbish as in the moths had got it sadly, and a complete bag of recycling coat hangers etc. I started on my clothes but was going to keep the good quality work trousers but end up with more than I need. So, it needs re visiting, I shall bring it all in the same space I need, that is the decider – I need the space more. More clothe moth deterrents put in and around.
Ran a few errands, picked up DH’s med, picked up a couple of bags of litter from the range, then over to Aldi, but knew it would be a shop, and a couple of festive goodies stashed away. I’m feeling stuck in a bit of a food rut so trying to change it, picked up a couple of rtc's.
Build your own wraps, brown rice, chicken pieces, salsa and salad topping.
Picked up one of the digital heritage passes I’m pleased with that, as I have somewhere we both would like to explore.

in no particular order
1) someone was mowing their lawn - the smell of freshly cut grass
2) hm pasta with tomato sauce topped with M&S mackerel in tomato sauce thanks to new M&S opening in hospital concourse
3) the new students - always a joy
4) a colleague's glut of apples - she brought in a huge bag and I took 10 having already sampled one
5) walking home with another colleague - the light through the trees was lovelyMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Another bank in the town gone Amps 😡
For yesterday,
Being grateful that the heating clicked in as another bbbbrrr morning.
C dog’s favourite game is collecting the windfalls and, either eating one, or swapping them out for a treat when Mum worries about her tum, either way she’s on to a good thing! Whereas I’m constantly trying to find them before she does 😂
Morning visit to my horse, they had put a rug on first thing due to low temperature but decent in the sunshine so I whipped it off.
Decided to take advantage of no parking charges after 3 in BuryStEds to do a few errands, got there at 2.50 so sat in car Justin. Did try on some jeans but recent weight loss meant I’m in between sizes so decided to wait but treated myself to a couple of nice soaps from French shop, not exactly MSE but…..
Made a batch of Bolognese sauce and we had some in a pasta bake for tea. Evening listening to radio commentary of United’s match at Craven Cottage, good account of ourselves but now out of league cup.7 -
Morning all 😊
Home from Lesvos on Sunday afternoon, wonderful holiday in the sunshine ☀️, easy transfers, what a difference using pre booked taxis! Luckily we arrived home to sunshine but somewhat cooler, so most of the washing is done and dried. Some ironing to do and then I’ll vacuum pack my summer clothes, ready for move.
Talking of which, our sellers still haven’t found anywhere, so 🤞 it won’t be too long.
Shopping, washing, cleaning and catch up tv on Monday. Yesterday I went swimming (40 lengths thanks to some sea swimming on holiday) then OH and I went to cinema to see Downton Abbey The Finale, really enjoyable and comfortable in our reclining seats 😊
Lunch out today for me with “ladies who lunch group” and hopefully a bit of garden tidying.
Have a good day everyone.7 -
National Fitness day
On yers skipping ropes then! You nose you want two!
Bankers. the lot of them! But who still goes to the bank. Since the mass hysteria event, I have only drawn out cash occasionally from the wobbleade chit dispenser for the Vets BrakeFest! I used the Emporium gift card and get 3% to 5% off every time. Even tell the other Vets to do the same!Your version of the Life of BoP!
Question, when I works from home, should the cat on the stairs be called a 'Trip Hazard'?
I did beef stew with dumplings on SunDae for dinner, with a Spotted Richard as well. Proper pan onion gravy and instant lumpy gravy.
Now on series 5 of Murders in the Builing!
PM2DD Oh, look the tv thing is saying the big ones are playing in Round 3. Oh, the Mariners are already in Round 4. Mother of BoP will be happy that Lincoln are out out! She never forgave my dad for leaving Sincil Bank early on 28 September 1957. The score was 1-1 at the time, and Grimsby went on to win 4-1!

Pleasures for today (Wednesday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Went to get my eyebrows done and beard threaded off, after a long break from going there. Oooo!
3) Went to the SEND college for a cup of tea and also had some tomato soup.
4) I'm collecting used tomato puree tubes for crafts and the chef at the college gave me an empty tube. I also enjoyed looking round the shop in the college. The farm and cafe are staffed by pupils.
5) Went into glass town to drop off a bag at a charity shop. Looked round all the charity shops but didn't buy anything.
6) All the stupid flags have been removed from our area. Only one remains (tangled in the wires). Wet, limp and useless, not unlike the men who put them up....
7) Got home and my lawnmower replacement part had arrived so I mended the lawnmower.
8) Smaller son and I went to Sainsburys cafe then got a few bits.
9) Jacket potatoes for tea, with cheese and beans.
10) Just starting to organise our holiday (now my passport has arrived). The first bit will be sailing from Newcastle to Amsterdam. There will also be Germany, Denmark and Sweden but not sure how many Baltic countries yet.6 -
Hello
Another day with plans gone awry ( I like order in my life 😆)
Up early.
Photos and video of whales! DD1 saw them from her beachside residence on holiday. And into town to meet the people who didn’t turn up yesterday and they didn’t turn up today nor answered my calls.Whilst in town popped to charity shop and got a nice checked skirt…should be nice with a pair of wooly tights!Slightly growly about this as I’d changed my plans for yesterday and today to accommodate this ….anyway, home and doggy and I went to CP. where we had a nice walk and not a swim as expected as pool hadn’t been opened. ( so was a tad growly about that too), ate our lunch …dog had dog food and I had a mug of soup.Quick walk before we headed back. On the way there there had been roadworks that I’d sat in for ages so thought I’ll go home the other way…yep…roadworks that I sat at for ages 😆
Anyway home and hoovered the car and then hoovered downstairs. Yesterday I had washed a fluffy blanket and when I’d taken it out of machine there was blue fluff everywhere! So it’s now been hoovered up!Thankfully it’s garden bin day tomorrow…and it will probably be filled again by the weekend!Still getting raspberries…dog enjoys them every day!Got a ‘free’ print through the post. It’s pretty and I just had to pay delivery cost. And now I’ve received it I can unsubscribe from their incessant emails!8 -
1. Tears+farewell hugs from &+others in Town of Horse NatWest, customers+staff. Will miss them so much.😓 &'s Hawkes Bay bouteilles well-received🍷🍾, but......
2. Roadworks everywhere, so slightly late>distant-ish young friend for morning tea. Yesterday's rtc choc. naughties adjudged Much Fuss About Very Little, being cupcakes of that ludicrously expensive Dubai/Arabian Chocolate. Neither of us thought it exceptional, except for the usual bonkers price.
3. Hwb last night.
4. After osp 2, into CUBG where the scent from these was glorious -5. ....and on the way out, who should be arriving, but Foxy Loxy!

1) a lovely walk in - gorgeous autumnal day with wisps of ha'ar on the Tay
2) and the super colours of leaves turning (my fave season)
3) a run with 2 colleagues at lunch time followed by a nice shower
4) despite 2 official meetings the team still turned up for the 'drop in' and were keenly talking about the future which was wonderful to see
5) a good evening with drm, mrg and mre watching the Celtic game then switching over for the drawer - and indeed watched out for you BOP - Brentford, bring it onMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025
