Pleasures for today (Tuesday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) My requested annual leave was signed off. This means I will have 10 days off in a row in both mid February and mid March.
3) I walked into town and had a cup of tea at M and S.
4) Played chess and pootled around at home.
5) Went to Costa at 4 to see my sister and niece.
6) Listening to our football team on the radio now (2-2 at half time) and I just made some cherry and chocolate fairy cakes.
7) Have been asked to deliver leaflets for my political party in the forthcoming town council election.5 -

Home made chilli & lentil soup made
Being able to help out my old neighbours
Hopefully have got some new to me wardrobes - solid wood 40 years old, pick up on Friday. Donation to local charity.

Excellent quiz this afternoon ,my team didn’t win ,but it was still good .
Yesterday took my unused tv to a friend who is stranded upstairs ,his wife ( also a friend )reports it’s really helped
Actually did some much needed housework ,still v breathless and tired so it’s a slow job .

For yesterday,
My lovely man has been working from home as much as possible as he’s aware of how empty I’m finding the house without my little mate, when I’m not doing chores I sit in his office and read my book.
Made a loaf, spelt with pumpkin seeds.
Enjoying various podcasts, especially Mel Robbins.
Vet came to give the beautiful grey one her annual vaccinations, he remarked how chilled she was as the needle went in but they’ve never worried her. Talked through an issue that’s been bothering me, he could find no physical reason and thought that it might be a pain memory from when she popped a splint. Plan made for moving forward.
The last of the xmas turkey out of the freezer and made into a pie, scraps of pastry made jam tarts for afters.

1 Feeling very ropey we appear to have a bug, managing to do the usual basics for the animals.
3 Watching the “still looks full moon” while on the sofa through the trees.
2 The blandest of foods for us with porridge or chicken soup
4 I’ve downgraded our Netflix without saying a word, if it’s noticeable I can change it back easily, and I’ve changed my exercise classes to the budget option, for now. I am quite pleased, little cut backs have saved a decent amount for the animals.
5 There’s a lot of napping.

Hello! Just in from hairdressers ( I normally go first thing definitely not last thing! Will need to sleep upright! )
Up early. Beautiful sunrise.
Stripped bedding. And hung outside. Not quite dry but nice to have a fresh air smell.Pup picked up for his walk and we went out! Popped in to home bargains for dehumidifier doodahs and then headed down to the CP. What a beautiful day. Had a nice walk and then about 20 minutes in the caravan. I have no water/ loo facilities for another month so don’t want to stay too long! Set the dehumidifiers around the van.Nice chatter with DD1 as she’ was waiting to catch her second last flight on her very long way home! She still had about another 43 hours at that point!Popped into charity shop on way home and handed in 2 bags of stuff. Bought a pair of trousers I’ll wear to work and a lampshade to replace one I’d cracked.
And home!Had leftovers for lunch.Went out into garage and finished emptying another box. Brought in wee record player and all my Nigella cook books!Started another pile for charity shop.
Did a bit of work prep / printing for tomorrow.Half made my bed…just the quilt cover to do as it wasn’t quite dry then.Out to hairdressers. Had a very good hair wash! The right amount of firm! Big load of hair chopped off! Very short bob. Lovely chatter.Followed the big moon home!5 -

For yesterday,
Refreshed the water on the flowers that lovely DSS and fiancée sent us, they really brighten up the table.
Met a friend for coffee at nursery in village, can’t say that I was scintillating company but it was lovely to catch up. She kindly gave me a big bottle of expensive equine medication that she no longer needs but I use for girlie, I paid for her plant purchases and will get some cash to her next time. She also gave me a cute little indoor rose.
With my pony, tidied up her legs as the hair was getting a bit long and, even though I wash them most day, I don’t want any nasties hiding in there and she gets mud fever.
Days stretching out and driving home in the light.
Made a meatloaf for tea.
