Well, yesterday was interesting.
After 5 months, I now have 2 men living in my house. (3, including smaller son!) 1 will be moving to his own flat next Monday.
This has been a secret for so long I will just quote a conversation I had with another volunteer at Park Run on Saturday.
C - Isn't it a shame that Mr U has to move out on Monday? I wonder where they will send him?
Me - he's coming to my house.
C - is he staying in your spare room with A?
Me - No...
C - Which room is he staying in?
Me - My room. I'm just going to look into the middle distance for a while...
C (in some confusion) - how long will he be staying?
Me - Forever, I hope
C - What? Oh!!!!
😊

Good morning.
Gosh! It's good news week here!
M hagster - that's wonderful. You'll be a great celebrant, I know. Will be thinking of you on Wednesday x
Frith - so pleased for you
Ampersand - hope all is well
My pleasures
Immunotherapy finished for a while so we've got our Mondays back
So I went to yoga for the first time since May! Thought I'd be really struggling but was actually pleased how well I did. And for an hour I thought about nothing except movement, breathing and which side is left or right. So no room in my head for worrying. Priceless!!
Cafe afterwards with my friend. Back in the old routine! Felt good
D D came for tea. That was good too.
An excellent day
Today DH has gone out with his friend so I've shampooed ( that can't be spelled right! It looks ridiculous!) the lounge/dining room carpet. We were going to get a new one before Christmas but not got round to it. Oh, the colour of the water afterwards. I'm glad no-one else saw it. But it does look better so new one can wait a while longer.
So I'm now resting my back. Probably for the rest of the day!!
Happy Tuesday everyone9 -
Frith, really pleased for you both.
1 Searching out a few Christmas gifts for dh, considering trying out a heated gilet thing as he’s feeling the cold. Each time I went to get something, he sat so nothing purchased today.
2 Had a lovely takeaway delivered by a very cheerful and chatty chap.
3 Watching a series on Nflix, undecided but committed now it must be watched.
4 Clean bedding for us and the animals.
5 I saw the woodpecker down again, I haven’t seen him for a while, glad he’s still about.

Hello.
Just popped in briefly to see if Mhags and Frith had done their 'big reveal' and ended our suspense. And they both have! Wow! Congratulations and all best wishes to you both - how exciting on both counts and just 'right' somehow.
Very little to report here and certainly nothing on that scale (!):
1) We survived the ferocious winds here yesterday with minimal damage, thank goodness, as it was pretty wild out there.
2) Cooking session while I was in the mood and some nice, healthy food in the freezers.
3) Walk and talk with my bairn today, good to touch base and compare notes, haven't had the chance for a good natter recently so lovely to catch up. Delighted that we don't see so much of him these days, means he is happy and all is well which is a very big pleasure.
4) Good that I could throw my car keys at him later on when he set off to do the school run only to find he had a puncture with the tyre virtually on its rim. Hubby will change it to the spare tomorrow and see if the puncture can be repaired - good job we are 'on site' as it were and able to help out.
5) First night of hubby's play tonight, waiting now for him to get in to report on how it went but if a disastrous dress rehearsal leads to a good first night then it should have been a good night as everything that could go wrong last night apparently did! Hope it went well, they are completely sold out for all performances.
Catch you later!

Good morning. Not quite sure why I never wrote last night, probably just too tired.Anyway for Tuesday.Nipped to supermarket and got lots of RTC things. That I needed anyway so that was pleasing.Home just as the log delivery chap was arriving. And logs fitted perfectly into the garage! Hurrah!Come on dog we are going to the beach and I know it’s raining but we are still going. And we had a nice walk. Tide was well in so he doesn’t get off but we walked a good stretch and then back again. That why we prefer a far out tide. When he can run like the wind!Stopped at beach town supermarket and got 35p flowers. Thank you very much. They’ll do me nicely.Home. Hoovered. Hung up washing.Chopped two pumpkins…do not need to chop a pumpkin for a while! Made soup.Friend popped round….with traybake! Then me not quite realising what time it was until she left…Waah it’s Tuesday tea! So we had pumpkin( free, from DD2) and lentil soup with sourdough (RTC) croutons, RTC sausages and crusty bread. Plum ( from freezer stock of gifted plums) and apple ( RTC) crumble mix ( that was already prepared in freezer) and it was delicious! And soup went home with the others and leftover crumble and cream too!And oh how we laughed as The Pup who’s really a fully grown dog boy now dropped the heavy KONG on DD2 head. But we were all laughing at everyone’s reactions to it!Have a good day! I’ve so much to do today ( nice things) with work this evening. Woken up with a bit of scratchy throat…so need to sort that as I need to speak tonight! Waah!Ampersand has internet problems so not getting on here to read or post.8

Congratulations to MHags and Frith 😊, how exciting.
I’m feeling quite a lot better, still 3 days of antibiotics to go, visit from respiratory nurse on Monday, lung function test at hospital tomorrow and a few other appointments to come ☹️
I went round to a friend’s for a catch up and sandwich yesterday lunchtime and my 2 lovely friends came for Chinese, chatter and laughs evening 😊 One of them has a provisional date to move to the seaside area we are thinking about for the future, 2 of her friends have just moved down there, the other friend has bought a beach hut in the nearby seaside place. One of my friends already lives down there, so it looks like it could be the place for us in the future.
I’m thinking of going to our nearby retail park, M & S and Tesco, to see if I can buy 90% of my Christmas 🎄 presents in one outing! Will see what my energy levels are like when I get up.
Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone 😘

For yesterday,
Bit of sloggus domesticus first thing and made a few spiders homeless.
Made a loaf, it had the first prove, knocked it back and switched on the oven only for that to trip the circuit board and oven kaput! My fault for saying no more home improvements until after the new year 🙄 Phoned electrician and bread dough split into rolls for freezing.
Visited new lady, chatted away for over an hour and arrangements made to meet again.
Quick change then over to see the beautiful grey one, it was raining hard and she was by her gate waiting to come in, come on Mum. Settled in and lots of cosseting done.
Watched and enjoyed GBBO, although it did make me crave a sausage roll, typical with no working oven!6
