Virtual hugs to DfV and Mhags, I hope you hubby is soon better and tomorrow goes smoothly.
Todays pleasures.
1. Working from home today, got lots done and the day passed quickly, in my office tomorrow and then on annual leave for a week.
2. Mr. M back at work today and home again tomorrow night, so a short week for him too.3. A bit more of my book read ….not really getting into it, but will persevere.
4. A nice catch up with my neighbour, who will keep an eye on the house for me when I’m away.
5. In bed, catch up on here….now time to listen to the ‘waves’ and put sunset mode on the alarm and sleeeep.Well Behaved women seldom make history

DFV wishing your DH a speedy recovery. Hugs and love to all your family.
Mhags will be thinking of you all today.
1. Work ok - many people off. Still keeping positive about it. Making sure some things I routinely do and others don't see noticed by managers.
2. Lunch with a couple of friendly colleagues away from some.
3. Out with work colleagues - an evening I helped organize. It seemed successful. The aim is to do it monthly. It was enjoyable and good to see what people are like away from work. I knew that the worst people won't go on it so felt it may help with staff feeling as part of a team. Majority of new staff come from elsewhere in the country and know no one in a bit very interesting town.
4. Good was better than I expected it to be.
5. A walk round the garden with DH. He was watering his roses at the same time.10 -
Oh my goodness DFV, what a scare, that goodness for the NHS and I would prescribe a trip to see the boss next year.
Will be thinking of you all today Mhags.
For yesterday,
Managed to get the bedding at least half dried on the line before the rain came over.
The beautiful grey one was actually mud coloured, hot clothed and generally pampered, have no doubt that an hour after she went back out she would have been back to original state!
Big old salad for lunch inc homegrown rocket etc.
In jeans & jumper all day then heating clicked in, err it is late May isn’t it?
Spanish chicken for tea, followed by cheese & fruit.9 -
Mhagster - will be thinking of you and your family today. Hugs x
DfV - Oh no. How frightening. Love and hugs coming across the Pennines. Praying he's soon out of ICU and soon back home.
Went to buy toiletries and otc medications for hols. With prescribed meds, I think we'll need a suitcase just for them!
Creamy prawn pasta for tea. Think I was a bit generous with the cream but it was delicious!
Printed off vaccination record. Don't trust my phone to work at crucial moments!
Happy Tuesday everyone.. Extra hugs for those who don't have a happy day x

Oh yes DfV. Rules are always putt underside the bored! Person requiring a cheque on the rules, forfeits the game as the counters are taken off the playing surface! Same inn the Admiral's Cabin!
Oh and afrom Jen! She nose about the ticker!
Heart Attack
Plumbing: Patient Conscious.Cardiac Arrest
Electrical: Patient Unconscious, carry out CPR!
Coughing and other bull on the unsocial media will not prevent either!
Friths. I lose more than 5 pounds out on the town with the Albatross!
Mhags! Jen has one!
How can roast buzzard bee left over!
Wet Dog!
Spanish Chicken?
Creamy Prawns! Are we on SunDae Yet?
Jangling all the weigh here as we weight for SunDae to come round! Kitty is relaxing knowing that the Admiral will be in a bit of tum butterflies! The Albatross has gets the crab paste inn. Details on the SunDae foods soon!
On SunDae feeds, the Albatross had to go to the Bootick last day as we nose they do has the crab paste! They had hidden behind on the shelf. She had a nebs at the pizza and other things. She saw tons of reduced strawbs to a price higher than the discount surplus store! Bread and things looked nice, butt not worth the price they were asking! On the running shopping at the discount surplus store is 49% moor expansive! Remember that when they want their greasy palms crossed!
Had snorker dogs last even for dinner, not in fancy artisan bread, with chopped onions. Then we has the strawbs and ice cream! And a seal bar as well!
We watched another Bond, The World is not Enough. Cocoa and fizzy fruit water was drinked and cheeses taken! Cheese is good for yous and the discount surplus store does has a nice smoked LieSter!
Tuck the Albatross to her work this morning and narrowly missed a new land speed record, as new traffic control lights were set up on the slip road! A slight miss time, butt shall be corrected later!
Then off to the discount surplus stores for provision and food for Kitty! I gets our barbecue foods inn, and I sea they has the ready mix foods inn for those that cannot barbecue as well!
Got home and as usual Kitty was pleased to see her Admiral and was treated with her nibble bytes! Unpacked the provisions, and maid up the sticky chicken and chicken tikka for the charcoal grill on Thursday and Saturday! Got that? The Admiral has sore ted the whether four you on these days. I note the bootick is selling mini choc ices on sticks for £4 for six. The discount surplus store does the same on theirs for £1.69 for 8! No choose really?
Remember if you are not confident on cooking raw buzzard on the barbecue, do not!
Now sits withs me mug of tee, PM2DD inn me Grimsby Town Mug! And ate me fresh satsumas as well! Cheese was taken earlier and the seal bare will bee eat soon!
Jen sends her
Do good this day!
I work from home so my cat can be fed on demand!11 -
